I can't believe kids drink NyQuil for the buzz. This is not fun. I'm going to try and sleep - which means very interesting dreams.

Whats sad is that I'm only writing 1/3 of the paper, but did 3/3s of the work in the project... So I'll be curious to see what the other 2 come up with...

This class is business strategy, and we played an online sim called the business strategy game. Its supposed to tie together everything we learned in business school. All it did was open up my eyes to how dim witted a large portion of my graduating class is...

What will really get your attention is how dim witted your instructors are... Think about that one for a while...

Oh, I've known about that one for a while...

I blasted one on a course review the other day. Absolutely no real world knowledge about the subject matter.

Taking 7 months out of school and working for a publicly traded company opens your eyes to how little college professors have actually experienced(generally). We have one professor that is really good, but that is because he was a realtor in Dallas for several years, and still maintains a real estate office here, as well as owning a small paper mainly consisting of classified ads...

All my professors had spent many years in industry and some were still doing work on the side or research at the school for outside companies. Not sure if that is unique to schools like Cal Poly that focus more on lab classes and application of theory or whether it is just the way all engineering departments are.

I was always happy when my instructors stayed within the confines of the subject at hand or went outside the box to explain circumstances related to a subject.... Anything outside of that lended itself to ignorance and intolerance...

Just compare everything to biscuits and gravy. Good gravy vs Runny lumpy gravy and too big or burnt biscuits. Adding sausage (patties vs links) or fried chicken and black pepper. If it gets cold it congeals into gravy jello. How jelly just doesn't really go with it, but maple syrup can. And what about eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes? Sounds like a grand slam.

Say you wrote the paper having coffee at Denny's.

Didn't have any problems at all with my commute from the bed to the desk. Even with the stop in the kitchen for a spot of breakfast.

It is the stuff I will go shovel for a while. After lunch. We have a big pot of black beans cooking.

The university decided it was unsafe for us to travel to campus today and called a snow day. Who am I to argue with them, so I stayed safe and warm in bed until about 30 minutes ago.

I still say somehow write some Denny's menu items into the paper.

You don't ever 'go' to Denny's, you always "end up" at Denny's.
The restaurant you only have to point at the pictures to order.

Golly that was fun. I just shoveled off the driveway. My driveway and parking lot is freaking huge. I can park 3 vehicles outside and still get in an out of the garage. Then I have to shovel off the part that leads up to the parking area. Phew.
