As in, I get parts no charge, minor work that I don't do, like mounting my harness. They also deal with mounting my Hoosiers. I'll run TRE's stickers as well. One on the windshield, two on the rear window.

But at the same time, there's a saying: there's no condition so bad that surgery can't make it worse. So make sure you have a good reason to operate before operating.
The soreness is from the two bones now grinding on each other in certain positions, like contorted in a 911. It's a 3rd degree separation. That's what the doc on the slopes said from the x-ray and that's what the doc said back at SCOI. The fact that my collar bone is very visible in situations also verifies that. I did the doctor thing after it happened. 3rd degree was said to be an elective surgery injury. Both docs said that if I was a model, it would be a good idea. Both also said that this is common with hockey players and they live life with it. I've also had some nerve issues in my chest from it, but that has subsided over the years. I think the nerves got caught up in some internal scar tissue. It was really painful/burning.

I'm not really looking to fix the problem, but I do wonder if it can be so many years later.

Which bones are rubbing? The acromioclavicular joint? That can be resected arthroscopically.

My shoulders suck. I go for long drives and end with a stiff drink.

The part of the collar bone that's supposed to be connected to the shoulder bone? I'll show you next time in person. Muscles were also torn at that time.

I landed on my shoulder from a 20'+ fall in a X games halfpipe.

Hockey players live with it? Don't they also live with not having most of their teeth?

Sister lived in Rolla Mo for years. Got tired of the snow and moved to Harlingen TX. Seems thats where a LOT of Missourites winter. After several years in TX she moved back to Rolla. Her daughter bought a huge ranch with enough apartments for the ranch hands that my sister and here four kids each had their own house. Kind of a family compound. The ranch was originally a hog farm, the owner my niece bought it from used the big hog barn to restore cars and the restorer staff stayed in the apartments.

Kinda like a 356 restoration place I visited in Tulsa that a local PCA member had a speedster and a coupe restored at. It was a family business. Driving in the place looked like a chicken farm (which it had been). The parents lived in the main house, each of the two brothers and their families lived in ranch hand housing on the property. The huge hen house was their shop and car storage. The equipment barn for the ranch was full of boxes and boxes of parts. From the outside it looked like it was still a chicken farm. It was quite a shock to walk into the hen house and see all the machine tools, paint booth, cars in progress, and finished cars. There were shelves used to hold entire cars like bunk beds along one wall. Not only did they have quite a few customer cars, the brothers each had a speedter, a coupe, and an original AC Cobra. They learned their trade from their father whom built duesenbergs.

Dave I have no medical training and I see a problem there with yer shoulder. Nothing a deck screw or some JB weld can't fix up.

We will be Harding out to the PCA breakfast soon. It is crazy cold out there. The roads don't look too bad. I never left the house yesterday so I don't know how the roads looked.

I took the Mercedes in to the shop to hang some mew tires and I realized that not only do I live in an area where people like to tailgate but that I am always looking for someone to jack with. I had a fairly new VW come up behind me like I owed them money...........................................ye ah that worked out well. I dropped back to 4th, hung some foot, fell into a set of corners and just had my way with them. I wonder how it felt to think you are the baddest thing on the planet and have a white bearded old man driving his wife's Lux-O-Cruiser hand him his ass? It was a fun drive, and that was on the old tires.

It's kind of cold here in SoCal. Mid40s and the threat of rain. It really feels like Christmas .

We're meeting with fellow Pelican/contractor look_171 to finalize the designs for the bathrooms he's going to remodel for us. Can't wait until they're done.
