Well, Mom wouldn't get out of bed this morning. When Mom gets confused and frustrated he starts complaining about all her aches and pains and just wants to sleep which is not good for her as she looses her strength very quickly.

Demanded they bring all Mom's decor stuff back and put it back where it was. Told them how it was effecting Mom to remove all the knick knack stuff she was familiar with and that I as seriously considering canceling the new kitchen flooring install. And that I didn't understand why they kept reorganizing and removing Mom's stuff after I told them how important it was to her mental state.

At lunch time they brought the stuff they had hauled off and put it back up then immediately left. Yesterday they were planning to have lunch here, attack the living room, and then have dinner together. They even gave me a list of stuff to get when I went grocery shopping yesterday. So think me putting my foot down must have pissed them off.

Finally got Mom up and around. While I was fixing her lunch she commented that she really liked sitting at the kitchen table and look at her stuff on the fridge and plate rack. Told my siblings and got no response.

Been talking to her while playing cards and putting a puzzle together with her to make sure replacing the kitchen floor is not going to upset her. The linoleum tile really does need to be replaced and she did pick out the new vinyl wood planking even though she is having trouble remembering it. I've laid out a bunch of the planking so she can see what it will look like. Really hope them messing with her stuff didn't make the floor a big issue for her.

Talked to a friend who is a hospice nurse trainer and she says it's really important that she feels she is a big part of any changes in her environment and that I may need to bring the old microwave back and use both microwaves for a while until she gets used to the new one.

i try tp understand my siblings are just trying to help. They are being what my hospice nurses call sea gulls. They come in, don't know what is going on, don't listen to care givers, make a bunch of changes, then leave and don't see the effects of what they've done. When told what the changes caused they rationalize away the ill effects as the natural progression of the illness.
