Well, 10am and neither the flooring or oven installers have arrived yet. These guys got better hours than bankers.

So far...floor lookin pretty good for vinyl.

New drop-in range is all white with all the knobs and dials on the front and will have a stainless backsplash going up to microwave to tie the stove to the stainless sink.

Evening Y'all.
Yet another one of those days that actually managed to put me in such a bad mood I would classify it as violent. I got home, turned off the phone and made the house look like we are not really awake. I hope nobody stops by.

Usually I would be inclined to agree with you David but in the case of today the .45 was put away before my lunchbox was.

Hey sid, have you heard of vvivid wrap? I've seen some decent reviews and the price was right, just ordered 5x30 for 170 shipped.

Got everything ordered for the Disco except the bumper, not sure if I'm going stock or terrafirma.

Uhhhh.... If it was that cheap for that much, it may suck. Or... It will suck.

Can you cancel the order? There's a reason 3m material is ~50 a yd... And it's not because they are greedy capitalists.

Check out Fellers, and I wouldn't even order the cheapest thing they have.

The flooring is Shaw Resilient, interlocking vinyl planks, color Resort Teak. Got it at Lowes.

Okay, get this...

Today met Glen and had lunch from 11 to about 12:15. Get home, Mom is gone. Flooring guy says they said they were taking her to lunch. Weren't eating with us or inviting us to eat with them since I put my foot down Sunday Morning. Till then we were coing both lunch and dinner. Didn't think much about it and had some work to do. Was in home office with dog and door closed so she would leave the flooring guy alone. At around 3pm wondered if they had brought Mom home from lunch yet and went to check. Found an empty box that wasn't there before. A quick check found Mom's dresser drawers had been re-arranged and two previously full of Mom's stuff were completely empty. Can't find the stuff anywhere.

At 6pm they bring Mom back from "Lunch." Sister tells me she wants to help put all the stuff back from the floor installation by taking Mom back to Missouri with her for a couple of weeks. Told her I didn't think it was a good idea because of the familiar surroundings thing. She made the comment that as they pulled up bringing her home Mom asked if this was her house. Tell them the other night when we were coming back from picking up more flooring she said "Home again, home again, jiggidy jog" as we pulled in the drive. Say she can take Mom, but it will speed up Mom's decline, I have researched, asked doctors, and talked to hospice workers about this stuff, and I am just trying to do what is easiest on Mom. Sister is leaving to go back to Missouri in the morning. Think Mom is staying here, but after being lied to a couple of times and not being informed about lunch or that it was all afternoon, can't be sure they are not plotting with me out of the picture.

After they left, while Mom and I were eating dinner I asked her about lunch. She said there wasn't much going on, that they took her to someone's house (my brother's in the next neighborhood) and she just sat there while the people there talked to each other. Said if she was just going to just sit there and nobody even talk to her she was happy to be home. Told me she was happy to be home several more times.

Mom has been asleep in her clothes since a little after dinner. Can't rouse her to put on her pajamas, a sure sign she is stressed out. She was doing great from when her plate rack got restocked until lunch today.

WHY DON"T THEY GET IT. AAAAAAAAAAAA

I am regretting my initial decision to make any of the changes around here even though they were sorely needed and were things Mom and I had been talking about doing for years. Wouldn't have done them at all but was told by professionals if I made Mom a part of the process and had her do things to help she should be fine. The sisters tossing her things is not helping at all. Also told havnig her go stay with someone then come back to everything changed would be worse thing to do.

Mom does say she likes the new floors so far, it's all the tools left to use the next day and stuff out of place after the workers leave that bothers and confuses her.

She will probably get up about 2am very confused and will need watching till 5 or 6am. Going to be a long night and a struggle to make it to her hair appointment tomorrow.

Good morning folks.

I missed the debate. Someone that believes the earth is just 4,000 years old will never listen to logic and reason. They have a inner feeling and faith that will never be changed with a debate.

Someone that understands Science is a process of step by step investigations over many centuries and explorations of the entire planet and solar system that link together to come up with a scientific theory that does not involve magic, superstition or supernatural forces will never believe the earth is just 4,000 years old without some stunning and very strong evidence. (wow long sentence)

In other words, they can debate all night and no one will change their minds.
