Seen some 928s with 19 inch rims, think 19s just look like too much rim and not enough tire. Besides, according to a car & driver test going from 18 to 19 you lose .1 seconds 0-60. The main reason for going to 18 from the stock 17 is better tire selection. And with better tires you can overcome the upsize 0-60 loss with rubber compound.
The lift kit thing has been done...  So has the pickup bed thing...

Taking the Lotus to 17 from the stock 16 gains top end and keeps acceleration the same if you keep weight close...n but the stock 16s are wickedly light, custom made for the model OZ
