I wish Wayne would fix the problem. My antivirus has had fits several times going to Pelican. If I was new to the BBS and saw that I would just never come back.

Got to be more than an ad. The one at the top now is a local car dealer. Phone says whole site should be blocked.

I posted at 6:01AM, Azzy. I think you must've seen my post before logging in. The Pelican forum defaults to PST, which shows up as 3 hours earlier.

Good morning folks.

It is officially HUMP day.

Good news: My new scissor lift is on the way.
Bad News: It weighs 950 lbs!

How in the hell do I get that on and off a trailer? It sure will not go in the back of my Elky.

I am thinking I will need to have a rollback wrecker pick it up and drop it at my house. Once it is at the house I can un-box it and it has wheels to move it around. It is portable.

Mertnin...

Glad the board got off the Google Malware list. Was tired of clicking through the wolf crying every refresh.

The wheel seller seems to be waiting for his buy it now only auction to end before he counters offers my offer of just wheels. Since he is advertising wheels with tires think it is outside the ebay fees for him.

Yea, the box it comes in is 4x4x4 and weighs 918 lbs. Not real simple to move around. I think the rollback wrecker or a lift-gate truck is my only choice. Once it is home it is easy to un-crate it and it does have wheels since it is designed to be a portable lift.

Glen, another option would be to go to harbor freight and get a couple of those flat dollies and a small winch. That's how we moved my lift. Strap the lift to the dollies, winch it up and down the ramp slow and easy.

A tow truck might be easier, prolly not as cheap though. The dollies might still be a good idea though.

If you need someone to go to your house and watch them unload it, I can put some pants on.

I called the freight company and they can change the type of delivery truck to one with a lift gate. It will cost me $100 more but they will set it on my driveway in front of the garage.

I talked to the folks at BendPak and he said all I have to do is unbox it, hook in the pump unit and plug it in and the jack will lift the crate and all up and let me roll it into place.

And they would likely be short pants if it is above 40 degrees.

About to go get free PIZZA. The regional board meeting is tonight. The free food at a board meeting is the only pay we get.
