Get off my lawn!
|
Same here. If my wife sees a spider she wants killed or the trash taken out, she hollers for me. If I make a lot of clanging noise in the garage she might check to be sure the car did not fall on me.

Guess I'll have to find some old Lassie reruns so I can train Pepper to go get help.

Don't think I would fit. Not that I am now running around looking for holes to fit into.

What a beautiful weekend that I stayed inside and missed in it's entirety.

The Potomac is still cold Jim, that has a great deal to do with the temps there. The James is small here and already warming up

Yeah, kind of a wasted weekend here as well. Yesterday was sunny and close to 50(in the sun) but my daughter was(is)sick so we didn't do anything. Today is sunny and 32. Again, didn't do crap but a stupid amount of laundry. Oh, and then I had to figure why the water wasn't draining from the washing machine completely. Grrrrrrr.
Drain was clogged a bit with crud. I wanted to pull the 911 seats and start the redying process but that will have to wait for another day. My wife is going to sew in a patch panel on the DS seat, too.

Get off my lawn!
|
It was a chamber of commerce day here. Mid 70's no wind. Just wonderful.
I spent several hours cleaning up the AC compressor unit in the back yard. It was pretty dirty. I used my shop vac and put a brush attachment on it to suck the dried crud off the condenser fins. The bottom of the unit had a bunch of leaves stuck in there that I sucked out. Getting that condenser unit back together is a real monkey puzzle. Several expletives are required. Then since I had the shop vac out I sucked the crap out of the pit for my lift. It is amazing how many small leaves and stuff gets down there. It is clean now as well. Then I noticed one of the bulbs in the garage door opener was out. Get out the ladder and fix that issue. All in all it was a good day in the garage and the back yard. I will be firing up the lawn mower pretty soon. ![]()

Gratefully, next door neighbor mowed my lawn last weekend while we were going thru all the funeral stuff.

Argh.
Wife is on the way to the ER with my daughter. Still dehydrated. Very lethargic. I thought it was getting better this afternoon.
