We are heading back to ok today. I've got work to do, just put another under contract last night, but still will be slowing down for a few days. Which is always nice.

A friend sent me this link. Wow, dang funny stuff.

Be warned, there is NSFW language. I think it is hysterical. Jeff, once again I seem to think of you when watching this. Not sure why....

The meeting lasted a whole 10 minutes. Wasn't worth even going in for, could have easily phoned it in. Drove straight home and changed back into shorts.

How many freezers of home made ice cream for 33 people?

No linky on previous post.

When I was working in "big corporate", it was white or light blue shirt and either red, blue or yellow tie, everyday.

That was fun for 4 years, I'm done with that for now

Flying. It's a 15 hour drive if you push it. No way I'd do that with kids.

And I hear you on the clothes. I wear golf shirts with my slacks most days. We did photos last week, wearing a suit when it's 110 in the shade is absolutely miserable for an outdoor photo shoot.

Rick, here is a simple instructional video. If a little girl can do it you can do it.

Not that I would go looking to catch a snake but it would be dead right after it bit me.

It seems like a standard ice cream freezer serves quite a crowd as much as they want. I would have two on hand for that many people. I assume one will be traditional vanilla....maybe a different flavor for the second one.

My wife and I made a wonderful strawberry ice cream with a bit of flavoring, and a full quart of chopped fresh strawberries.....oh boy, that was good.

How much regular ice cream would you buy if you were not going to do home made?
Make that much.

A standard (IE not one of the little quart things) would be enough for mom, dad, the kids and I and a little left over.

I haven't had a job where I had to wear a tie. A couple times I have had to wear a sport coat though. My job in CA was like Glen's but I did wear a polo or golf shirt with the shorts and tennis shoes. Even if I had to visit a customer's site.

Freezer makes 4 pints. 1/2 cup each is 16 servings per freezer. I've arranged for 3 freezers. We are doing dinner (burgers and dogs) then a fireworks display after dark. So thinking there is going to be some double dipping.

Dress code for office is business casual. No t-shirts, no jeans and no shorts. Skirts or dresses must touch the ground if on their knees.

Yeah, I thought that was a funny way to measure skirt length.

Back in the olden days when I was in high school the dress code for the girls was the hemline had to be at LEAST to the tips of the girls thumbs when their arms were hanging at their sides. Now stand up and hold your arms relaxed and at your sides. That is a short skirt. When I look at the yearbook photos I realize just how short that is. It was great!

I wore jeans and a shirt with buttons in high school.

I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt to work today. The t-shirt has the comment 'Please wait, sarcastic comment loading' written on it, with a pic of a spinning widget.

Morning all
