We saw minions yesterday... Pretty funny.

Saw Spy a few weeks ago and it was hilarious!

Spy was good. Just finished Max, great dog movie. Pepper kept trying to get my attention during the dog barking parts.

Need to setup my old mac mini as a media server with my big TV for a monitor so I can control the KODI with a remote instead of from my laptop and don't have to steam over wifi to my laptop and then back again to the appletv.

Evening Y'all
Well for the first time is several weeks I had a day off from work and there was no rain, so I got to work.
I did take a break and go for a walk in the woods, just a couple of miles to get away from all the lawn mower noise

We saw Jurassic World. Not to spoil the plot but some people get killed by some bad critters. I am glad they are extinct.

Not the ones in this movie. Maybe if you can get it to be like a loyal dog.

Woohoo! The ski resort I'm off too next month had half a metre of white fluffy stuff over the weekend. Forecast is for more to dump over the next few weeks.

It's supposed to stay cold here (below 20C) for another week with night time temps below 0, then back to mid 20s and single digits overnight again.

I'm looking forward to the ski trip but I do really enjoy a short mild winter.

Okay, so what's the trick to build a fire under the mechanic that is supposed to be working on my 928? He has had it for months now and hasn't started on pulling the motor to do the ring job yet.

Fcuking gas company has rooted me over. I pay rent on two gas bottles so that when one bottle runs dry, I can quickly change to the other bottle. Then I can get the bottles filled/topped up in slowtime, as it takes about a week to process a fill request (gotta love call centre out sourcing).

The plan is that we'll never really run out of gas.

Well, we ran a bottle dry moments ago and when I switched to the other bottle...nothing! Not happy Jan

The bastards dicked us around last winter and I've had enough of 'em.

If I don't have two full bottles before lunch tomorrow, they can come collect their empty bottles as I'll have organised another gas supplier by then.

BTW, morning all.

Time to give him a deadline or you're taking it to another shop.

Good morning all.

Richard, that shop has never been know for prompt service, especially on engine work.

I don't have any suggestions. Jeff, I can only have sympathy for bottled gas problems. I hear lots of people with the same issues. It sure makes me love underground pipelines. That is not foolproof. Here at work we have had gas service interruptions twice. Once a 18 wheeler managed to hit a really HUGH gas meeter a block away that services the largest independent food processing plant in the USA. The gas company had to shut off gas service for the area to repair that. The good news is that it was in the middle of summer so we did not even notice until they came in to light the water heater. We told them we have it shut off so don't bother. That puzzled them because they wanted to purge the line of any possible trapped air. They figured out another way.

I got gas...heh heh heh.

Do the two bottle thing with my grill. Never seem to get around to filling the second one until the first one goes dry. Then I swap em out and the dry one goes in the garage next to the car until the other one goes dry.

Joe, you suck. I mean that in the nicest way though.

The CZ looks decent but I would want to hold it. Not many of the poly frames fit me very well.

Minions was good and everyone laughed a lot. Especially some of the songs in the native minion language.

Glen, our weather was the opposite this weekend. It was mid 80s but in the upper 90% for humidity and heavily overcast. Got quite a bit of yard work done even so.

Had it for months? Hasn't touched it?

If there was no expectation of it taking this long and you've been asking about work being completed...

Walk in and take the car.
