Dig it. Didn't see a price, though.

My wife likes it but we aren't ready to purchase a different vehicle right now.

The mechanic that did the valve job on my 928 in Dallas is trying to see if he can get a loan on it for his college age daughter. Holding off on answer from him and getting the car back from the detailer for more current pictures. NADA says $11,125.

Run one of those electric trimmers in my ears and nose. You just can't train ear or nose hairs.

Happy Saturday Gents!

Another rainy day here so no cutting of the lawns.

Wifey is working a few hours but the good news is that her plant received "Supplier of the Year" from GM yesterday. That goes a long way in securing future contracts with them and other brands.

Morning all. Today my 911 is combing back to life. I will put in the DME , the new solid state DME relay the cruise control CPU and the cruise control cable. Ogan I found an old OEM black coil that goes back in. Fun day in the garage.

This is my second day of being carless. GTS is getting x-pipe made. Turbo is getting headlights and window motor put in, and the headlight assemblies are sitting in my foyer. S is still at the detailer's.

Since the S is still at the detailer's means it is going to come back looking better than new. He told me about getting some new paint correction stuff. The cars he has been using it on are winning best of show in car shows besides being Mopars which notoriously have lack of depth in the factory paint. Told him it just needs to look good enough to sell better not win car shows.

Since this is Cars and Coffee first Saturday and he always goes, maybe he took my S to first Saturday to show it off? It does look pretty good all shined up since it is dark red instead of silver or black like most Cayennes. Maybe he is trying to sell it? Told him would spit anything over $10.5K a buyer paid he sent to me and NADA says it's worth $11,125. KBB says $10.5 but does not list air suspension as an option and NADA does. Sure would be good advertising for his detailing if he sold it at Cars and Coffee.

If had gotten the S back yesterday would have driven it to breakfast in Dallas this morning. About 30 928 owners meet up for breakfast in Dallas on first Saturday. Noticed quite a few 928 guy's wives drive Cayennes or their DD is a Cayenne to keep miles off their 928 like me. But then again, dangling it in front of the Dallas area 928 mechanic that has already told me he is trying to find financing to buy it for his daughter would be mean. Black book lists loan value as $11,625.

Well.....

The cruise control is fixed and works better than ever in the 20 years I have had it.

The not so good news is the 911 still has a damn poltergeist. It ran great for 20 minutes then started the same problem. Expletives deleted.

Well. I got our lawn and the neighbor to the North's done today. Riding the tractor was a little painful.

I casually mentioned this to my wife who replied "Get your nuts cut every month and THEN you can complain." Yikes!

On of the skills needed to have a marriage is knowing when to NOT say something. Some comments that would be funny on a sitcom would not go over real well in real life.

That must be it! Friends wife made the comment that I was funny so she didn't understand why I wasn't married. That must be why.

So...finally ran my leather wallet thru the washer and dryer one too many times. Have to get a new one.

My bank recently started issuing chipped cards with the little gold contact rectangle, but don't think the chip is wireless.

Should I get a wallet with RIFD protection or should I just forget about it?
