I worked with a chick that her nickname was "The Hobbit"

Her license tag on her car was Hobbit. She was 4 foot 6 inches tall. (1.3716 meters)

Sweet. Detailed the Traverse I couldn't do last week due to the hospital BS.

Gave the neighbor a price for the job and she gave me an extra $25.

Got a bit dizzy a few times so I suppose I should mention that to the doc.

So, been think about getting a steam or extractor to keep the carpet in my cars clean. Should I get a steam cleaner, or a heated extractor, or both?

Get the heated extractor if you do. I can't imagine that your carpets get that dirty, though. Not much salt in winter time and you don't go mudding any longer I believe.

I bought our new carpet cleaner to use in the house. The old dog was having accidents and we have kids so it is almost a necessity for us. The PIA factor of renting one is enough for have spent the money. I think it was around $135.00, made by Bissell, and you can find them at most department stores. It has 2 different sized hand wands and a crevice cleaner. It also has a heater that keeps the water hot until it is empty.

Pepper gets the back seats and carpet pretty dirty.

Had a big bissel carpet cleaner and it ended up dumping a gallon of water in the middle of the living room carpet so donated it away.

Guess will be looking for an extractor that will be for both home and auto.

Haven't gotten any Craigslist calls on the Cayenne S so listed on cars.com this morning. Thought it was interesting that according to the Ad ID number they have listed 973,000 ads since I listed the Range Rover 2 years and 2 months ago.

Jeff, that looks a lot like parts of Arizona. Only bigger spiders and deadlier snakes. Have fun on the practice retirement.

There is a video going around of a spider pulling a mouse up the side of a fridge. It has killed the mouse and plans to snack on the mouse up higher. A fricking spider hauling around a mouse! Only in Australia.

Good Hump day morning all.

Yup. We have a leadership conference from noon to 4:00. Boss said we won't be coming back afterwards and I told her that sounded a little ominous. She then clarified not coming back to the office today.

Anyone know anything about these lights? I have two broken lenses on the fog lights on the Durango and the original headlight is pretty yellow and one was replaced due to a deer being in the wrong place so they don't match. I have to pull the lights to replace the fogs so I thought while I was in there maybe putting some better lights back in.

Thought about the round halo (Anzo) similar to what the new Durango has. Otherwise the Euro chrome.

Found OEM headlights for my Cayenne on ebay. OEM was Valeo in Spain and they shipped from Lithuania. Porsche wanted $1200 each, got them for $520 including shipping and customs.

Got scammer texts on the Cayenne S listing on cars.com.
Goes thru a couple of texts asking for info listed in ad.
I text back to read the web page and sent a link.
Then texts wants to buy it now and to paypal the money and send a transport.
I text Sorry only take cash, bank transfer, or escrow the deal.
Says uncomfortable with anything except paypal because easy and fast.
I text And payment can be cancelled and is not guaranteed on cars.
Says Papal is faster, safer, way to send money.
I text Not for cars, not safe at all for seller.

No more texts.

The scam is they paypal from a bogus account, they paypal the amount for the car and include the transport fee. Then they ask you to wire money to the transport co. Once you do they disappear including the paypal account so the money gets taken back out or yours Paypal. Any Paypal does not offer any protection for car purchases.

I casually mentioned to my wife that she should treat herself to a new vehicle for all the hard work and hours she puts in at work.

Today, she came home with a 2016 Malibu. She traded the Honder in and leased it for 3 years.

Here are the details on it: It is silver, the tires are black and round.

Seriously, it is one boring frikkin' vehicle.

The good thing is it will be going to a dealer for all work. I am not doing a thing but keeping it clean.

When I leased the Boxster S, the dealer washed it any time I took it in for any sort of service. For the first 2 years they gave me a loaner boxster to drive while it was in for service. Then they changed their loaner cars to Infinity G-35's. Typically would drop the Boxster off on the way to work. And swap em back on my way home from work.

Congratulation on the new car?
