I need less late nights. I read you last sentence as you wanted to do CAD roadkill.

That was different!

It sounded like the space aliens were trying to get us!

I noticed a thumping and banging on the roof. It sounded like someone was in the attic or on the roof hitting it with something hard. I went outside and walked all around the building and there were no ladders or any sign of anyone out there. The building is a metal building with I would guess a 30 foot high flat roof. With metal sides only Spiderman could get up there without a ladder.

The noise went away so we figured it was just the wind or something. Then it started up again. Our pilot looked around outside that time and walked into the field next door to see up on the roof. A crow was up there pecking at a stick or a bone. It was making a lot of racket. It flew off with whatever it was and all is quiet again.

It was just strange to hear a noise from a place that should be silent. No ghosts, extraterrestrials or poltergeists, just a crow and a stick.

Sounds like you need to add some aero bits to the plan. What's not to like about a go-fast blob?

Richard-you certainly have an interesting, if not entertaining family.

Today I noticed the opener light on my side wasn't working. Threw a new bulb in but still nothing.

Had power to the socket so I knew it wasn't anything bad. I ended up bending the metal tab in the bottom of the socket. I guess I've been turning the bulbs too far and smished it down. I've noticed that some of the newer LED bulbs don't fit well into older fixtures. I know they SHOULD but..

and yes I turned the juice off before working on it.

On my Mom's grandmother's side, not my grandmother, Stella, but her 3 sisters, Rose, Cora, and Minnie married 3 brothers, Alfred, Wallace, and Chub. Always thought that was weird, 3 sisters marrying 3 brothers. My great grandmother and great granddad looked and acted just like Ma and Pa Kettle. She was a big loud woman that did everything and he was a small skinny man that sat around smoking his pipe.

My wife's great aunts had some double cousins as well. The kids were surprised to find other kids aunts and uncles were not brothers and sisters of each other. I guess the pickings were slim for mates back in them thar days.

Her relatives were not related except by marriage. It was the same deal, two brothers marrying two sisters. Just a very small farm community and going to town was a several hour horse and buggy ride.

Yea, it going to be strange weather. 67 today and then the front comes back and it drops to single digit temps and blowing flurries. Maybe up to 1/2 inch but when it it that dry it just blows around and accumulates in the grass and around trees and buildings.

Tomorrow morning is the Porsche club breakfast. It will be too cold to drive the Porsche with summer performance tires on it. Since I have plans to put winter tires on the old 15s factory Fuchs right after I die my hair rainbow colors and shave my beard I will just drive the Elky.
