He started near the end of the series with the 9th doctor and some with the 10th doctor. It also explains some about how Torchwood the organization started.

The Windows 10 recovery stuff was taken directly form the Dilbert comic strip I think.

There is a reason they call the series Dr. Who. They just left the question mark off.
Think it is just a scripted casting convenience to change the Doctor every so often.

Curious because I don't really use it very much...
What is it that you don't like about iTunes?
The way it lists things and lets you create playlists?
The way is stores the music to help keep track of it?

iTtunes sucks top to bottom left to right in every way.

Why can't I just look manage the photos or music directly. I would like to set up a 100% play all songs is random order. It is not possible. I want to look at the photo to see if it is a duplicate but that is impossible. The only thing it kinda sorta does right is a backup of the phone. Heck I can't even plug in the phone and see the photos like it was a big thumb drive. I have to email a photo to get it to my computer.

It makes Photoshop and Autocad look like easy to use programs.

AutoCAD is easy once you learn the buttons on the tool bar. I think Photoshop is a breeze, but I have been using it since the the first version I used came on 5.25 inch floppies.

We have one of the mapping programs from ESRI that is annoying. It re-maps a lot of the standard windows keyboard commands. Some of the most useful features are buried 6 or 7 layers deep in a hidden menu box.

We may finally have to upgrade to the newest version of AutoCAD. When we generate a contour map of the ground we always have some clean up and editing of the file spit out by the program. We look at it in 3D and we can get the break-lines down in the ditches at the proper elevation and do the planometric drawing. It is supposed to be the standard program and easier than what we are using.

All I know is the newest version of Photoshop is a resource hog compared to when I started with it.

Remember when photoshop was B/W only and fit on a 3-1/2" floppy AND wasn't owned by Adobe, think it was Knoll Software.

Also remember sitting in front of my mac, swapping floppies in and out of the single drive to load programs. Was really excited to get an external 3 1/2 inch drive. Then came my huge 20mb hard drive wow. And there was a system plugin that kept the hard drive from fragmenting too. (where did that go?)

Don't remember who I sold that hard drive and the Full Page B/W display or that old Mac to for that matter.

The AutoCAD I first used came on 5 1/4" discs and was used on a monochrome (orange) monitor.

I've actually met the Geek that originally came up with AutoCad.

In college they wanted me to take a CAD drawing class. I turned my nose up at it because you had to actually code the Fortran to draw anything.
Also refused to take programming classes that involved punch cards when there were both 5 1/4 and 9" floppies everywhere.

Ha ha ha...Not long after I got my first Mac I bought a CAD program called MacDraft.
Didn't ever really use it, gave copies to a couple of my software collecting friends.

Four years later the founder of the company came in and asked me about his friend from Venezuela buying a Mac and getting a copy of MacDraft on it that was registered to MY NAME! Told him it was some software I bought years earlier and then didn't use so gave it to a friend and I thought is was amazing that it came up in Venezuela. Told him about how in Venezuela they don't recognize US software copyrights and when you buy a computer the store installs whatever you want on it that they have gotten copies of. And that they must have somehow gotten a copy of the software I gave to a friend. He was okay with that as long as it was not hacked off my computer. Actually I thought it was kinda cool.

Good Friday morning all.

TGIF. I am alone at the office today. My co-worker has a friend with a King Air. Well actually his friend is the full time pilot for the owner of the King Air. They decided to fly to Cozumel for a few days. All he will have to pay for is his hotel room and food. Not a bad deal. My co-worker has to dress up in nice clothes and play baggage handler and steward for the owners for the trip down and back but except for that is is a free trip. Our chief pilot is out for a while helping with the annual on our 206.
