We were 78 on Friday. Now it is back to winter here, 44 degrees and overcast. It is supposed to be back to 60 tomorrow and 80 by Friday. I am ready to dig out the shorts again.

Pete, I bet you have had lots of practice plowing the roads this year.

The extrovert in me would make me go to the help desk and tell them their honeycrisp apples have gone bad or something. They have turned kind of orangey looking.

Would be thrilled if they had someone go to the bin immediately so I could see the look on their face.

Yep, realize I was at a huge advantage being able to work from home to be Mom's care giver when she needed it.

My sister built a split level house with a one bedroom apartment downstair for his parents. His Dad had dementia, they called it senility back then, and didn't know who or where he was. Most of the time he would wonder around in the basement doing things and talking to people that weren't there. Sometimes he even played poker with some group or other we couldn't see or hear. The worst was him deciding where his imaginary toilet was.

Good Morning. I decree that there will be no more Mondays for the rest of this week.

Except for Jim, whom is now exempt from not only Mondays, but Fridays as well.

I will second that motion, decree, proclamation or statement.

So does the Turbo come home today?

Don't know yet. Have not heard from JD since last week.

Maybe I need to do like a friend from work. He drove a car or truck for a little over a year. Then as stuff started needing fixed he would get something cheap to drive while fixing the other. Problem was he never got around to fixing any of the cars or trucks. He even moved to a house on 5 acres with a huge work shop besides the 2 car garage to have room for everything. It ended up being big parking lot. Of all the cars ie. Firebirds, pickups, Towncars, Corvettes, Buicks, economy cars, etc., the only one that didn't actually run and drive was a bucket T roadster. He had taken it apart to repaint it, been that way for the 40 years I've known him. He even has a city bus converted to a motor home he got cheap that he was going to finish out the interior himself. He passed away a couple of weeks ago.

What are these “Mondays” and “Fridays” that you referred to?

Yeah, that ProofPoint anit-spam thing is going to stop ALL the phishing/malware so we don't even need to train our employees how to recognize malware...I call BS.

We've gotten 4 malware emails, each to 100 plus users since going to ProofPoint. That is more than we've gotten with the Microsoft edge protection after a few custom rules. And the ProofPoint changes the emails enough so the Microsoft anit-spam rules don't work no more, nice.

My boss tells me it's okay because ProofPoint removes the malware. Again BS. Opened an attachment in one of the malwares delivered this morning and it immediately took my browser to a web page that my Malwarebytes went off on and stopped.

There were only 2 users that reported this mornings phishing attempt out of 147 that received it. Within 5 minutes I was able to move the messages to the trash for 136 users before they even saw them.

But that is still only doing reactive stuff and there are no means to do anything proactive to stop them from getting to inboxes in the first place.

Which Tuesday?

Sounds like ProofPoint is good at removing currency from one account to the other.

Called the body shop. Seems they have another Cayenne in their shop the same model, year and color and the painters are getting confused one which parts were for what because they were waiting so long to get bumper covers from Porsche. Said tomorrow, but I'm thinking Thursday or later.

Yea, typical body shop. They are all slow.

Much like a bar with "free beer tomorrow", it is always one more day!
