That happened to a friends car. Black bear wanted in. Peeled the door open and basicly tore the interior apart. There was no food left in the car.

Friends of mine decided to snowmobile from Thompson, MB to Churchill, MB. They hired a guide. Along the way the guide stopped and pointed off in the distance behind them. Soon they could see a white shape following their snowmoblie tracks. He said it was interesting to watch until the bear started to get close and he started to get worried. They asked the guide "Isn't it time to get going? The guide said "No" and pulled out his rifle. When the bear was close enough the guide shot it. Once a big white decides your food, they will follow you for days and it's either shoot them or risk them catching up when your camped for the night.
