I could have gone without knowing that....

Time to sell the SVT. There is a reason I have a 7lb head and 31 and 40 lbs cabs

Just get a VT pedal and call it good...

I sold the refridgerator 4 years ago. I like you now I'm using an Ampeg single 15 unit that is 220 watts. On wheels and it only weighs 80 lbs. Still too heavy for me at moment, but it gets the job done nicely. I do miss the sound of 8-10's though.

That whole 80lbs part kills me. I'm a wimp. I'm into small/modular rigs these days. I have a Berg 1-12 cab that I take for jazz gigs, a 2-10 for funk, and I run both if I need to push a lot of air.

Though I have to admit gigs like Saturday were even easier when backline is provided

I had to get used to dragging my stuff around again when I moved here. Lot's of club dates as nobody knew me here. All I did in florida was pretty much plug and play. Now that I'm playing with Rich Harper, the P&P's are starting to come to me again. Can't beat em. * If I have the opportunity to request equipment in the form of a rider, I always request and SVT. Hell if I don't have to lug it, it's always my first choice.*

Shoot, this is day 5. You should be getting around pretty well by now. Maybe rest some more? Don't fight the thing.

I'm seeing my Dr tommorrow afternoon. I told my wife today that I've been having pains and made the appointment.

I'll start my own hernia thread after the Dr. visit. I know you all can't wait.

Sorry to hear it, I can sympathize. Hopefully you're at the peak, and it gets better from here on out.

Not that it helps, but I had some unknown, unexpected secondary issues, thus why I was beochin' so bad. Hopefully you have avoided anything else.

Yeah, you know they are there. I don't know of any surgeons that do a sew up job on inguinal hernias these days, but that's the one that I DON'T notice.

You may love this, I was awake the whole time the dude was working down there. The screen job I don't remember a thing.

One of these comes in handy on the bad days.

I couldn't take the vicodin for more than 2 days. It was worse than the pain! Just loaded up on ibuprofen and took it easy. I went back and checked the calendar, I was still very sore 9 days after. I had to work at my kids pinewood derby that day. I stood/sat upright for 7-8 hours. It was rough! People made fun of me cause I walked like a little old lady...

You will feel better in a couple of days. Hang in there!

Hey guys, well it's a little better every day key word "little". I think the fact that they had to re attach a muscle on the right is the intense pain culprit. Every time I move it feels like I'm ripping something on the right side. It takes my breath away. The left side is fine, very little if any pain. I'm going to my follow up with the surgeon today so I'll play 20 questions with him and get the low down.

Paul, let us know what the Dr. says. Can't wait for your new thread. The surgeon I know is Dr. David Berry. Tell him "T-Bird" sent you, seriously tell him that.
