My EDC. Nothing flashy. Great knife. I've abused it for years, still love how it feels in my hand.
I just wish I could give it a good edge. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1286300509.jpg |

Also the knife at the top left with the yellow grip (first pic) is an old K Bar that Grand Pa used to have...The one center bottom is a Old Timer Schrade (1st run China) that Lubby gave me...thx Lubby I use it... The 3rd picture was sumthin i found while collectin all the knifes for a picture..and that is a Camp Perry Match Medal from 1918 with the inscritption "Wm Best" on the back of the medal. I left out an old K Bar. that my Uncle carried at D Day, a Jap Bayonet and a Pre war US military Machete that came from the PT Boat Squadron in the Solomon Islands in 42-43. that and a Fighting Knife that saw service in the Pacific...still another Uncle.. |

Tabby,
Nice pocket knife collection. I'm kinda into them too. My fave is the Case Muskrat. |
head416, i have the same blade style. from benchmade. those triangular ceramic sticks from SpyderCo sharpens the entire blade beautifully. even the serrated section.
some of you guys have great blades. especially jeff higgens!!! (smartass :)) Case blades. i had a rancher gut a hog in 27 seconds with a case folder. he cut the chest opened, hacked thru the pelvis..and then cut the ribs off with that tiny case. i will start the search for an older Case folder. amazing blade. |
This was my fathers who might have got it from his father ? I can't ask anymore.
They were Sportsmen back in Freeport Illinois in the 1920's, so his dad may have given it to him. I have a Crow call that was handed down also, that was made by Perdew. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1286986525.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1286986587.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1286986686.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1286987260.jpg |
Actual Maasai simi. More of a sword than knife. The thing stinks, I can't describe the smell other than it seems to have been rolled around in fresh animal entrails. The spear is more of a souvenir.

Likely has decades of dried camel blood and guts soaked in the cracks and wood/or leather..Yuck. Mebbe worse. Neat stuff though. Looks very original to me.
