^^^ Are you serious? I just looked at a few recipes today like this one

The BEST Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

My Polish grandmother made the absolute best chicken fricassée and dumplings when we were kids. Dumplings were huge and fluffy and extremely tasty in a way I have never had again. Was just thinking about them today.

Looking forward to what you cook up!

I made the America's Test Kitchen chicken and dumplings recipe and it was great. The only thing I might add to your recipe would be some frozen peas.

And the ATK recipe had the whole shebang cooking in a Dutch oven on the stove with a dish towel wrapped and tied around the lid when you steamed the dumplings.

I like the large dumplings, not the flat, noodley looking ones.

My best meal this week. My wife is still talking about it. I made fresh Asian hand pulled noodles, and turned them into a CUMIN LAMB noodle dish.

And lunch earlier was grilled Onigiri.

Grew up with the traditional breading on fried shrimp, sometimes they add panko which is nice if done right. Nothing beats fresh gulf shrimp, cooked right and eaten immediately. I seldom get it anywhere inland, unless it's a pretty high end restaurant.

Try a light roll in rice flour then fry in small batches in a wok. Bang bang sauce (mayo mixed with your choice of hot sauce like sriracha or similar) as a dip for it. Possibly a very light touch of salt on the shrimp as they come out.

they won't look battered or anything but that's the point. it's enough to get a taste of the coating but just barely.

Not a fan of the tempura batter flavor, on anything,

For fried shrimp, I'm a redneck.

Reheated bacon wrapped duck (love the air fryer) for lunch today. SPG and brown sugar on the breasts before wrapping. Have more brining now and may add honey just before pulling off the grill for that batch. Fortunately didn't bite down too hard on the pellet that I missed when cleaning the birds.

Home made fish (mahi-mahi) & chips. I suddenly remember why i don't fry things at home. My house stinks, it's filled with smoke, and my stove is a mess.

Every stove needs an overhead dedicated fan hood, or microwave, to vent smells to the outside.

Easiness of install:
It depends on which way overhead joists run for 2-story houses. The metal vent should run parallel all the way to the exterior wall.

Or frame a overhead surround to hide it and run the vent over the ceiling.

Also put a screen inside the exterior flapper to keep the birds out.
(ie not flapping around wildly inside the ceiling waking you up in the middle of night.)
