Huge Sticky Beef Short Ribs. Chinese 5 spice, Oyster Sauce, chili peppers, wine and brown sugar form a decadent sticky bliss of a meal.

Recipe: all 5 star reviews.

Sticky Five-Spice Short Ribs Recipe : Aida Mollenkamp : Food Network

Combine with this spicy coleslaw for awesome flavor balance. Ignore the first meat dish and scroll down to the slaw.

Five Spice Spare Ribs with Crunchy Slaw Recipe : Emeril Lagasse : Food Network

Mine - 2 hours simmering in a cast iron Dutch oven on my BBQ side burner.

Following my trend in minimalism, I had to combine these great tasty tom tomatoes with some fresh pappardelle. Pasta, tomatoes, olive oil, butter, S&P. The tomatoes were bursting with flavor, I wish I had blistered and lightly roasted 3-4 more. And I have to start buying more wine, an Italian Primitivo would have made this even better.

Doesn't look like much but it was excellent. The tasty toms made the dish. No better tomato available today.

Had a family gathering to celebrate 3 birthdays and smoked one of these to cut up as an appetizer. A bacon cheeseburger fatty. It was pretty tasty!

Wow Cliff! That is a great pic and a great looking dish. I've always wanted to try making it, I think I'll give it a shot.

turned out very good. wife loved it!!

i am however on this salt reduction thing. self imposed. this chicken could have used more salt. if i would have had dinner guest, i would have added salt.

it was super easy to make, actually. i talked to a chef in santa rosa and supplemented the info with Alton Browns recipe. i did the onions and shrooms in the oven. and added anchovy paste to the sauce.

Why is that El Sauso?

Lunch today was perfect, 1 pan: lot of olive oil, 2 chicken thighs, diced potatoes, chopped garlic, 2 tasty toms, brown on top, throw in the oven for 22 minutes at 400F, done. So simple, so tasty. Bell & Evans chicken really makes a difference.

Thighs are meaty and juicy and with the bone, extra tasty. They are all I buy in addition to whole chickens though tenderloins are good for marinating and grilling for an appetizer or quick snack.

Cave Man Dinosaur sized huge rack Beef Rib good meat yum.

Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals of the clade Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, 231.4 million years ago, and were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for 135 million years, from the start of the Jurassic (about 200 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (66 million years ago), when the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event led to the extinction of most dinosaur groups (and three-quarters of plant and animal species on Earth) ending the Mesozoic Era.............

Back to the Future brings 7 hours Ribs smoked in a turkey sized disposable alum pan. Low and slow indirect heat.

Dry Rub and water pans used during smokin' lovin'.

Baste. Foil, Crisp.

Heavy smoke Mesquite wood fresh from Texas.

heavenly bliss.

Now ya'll go away, nothing to see here, please move along.......move along now.

this quick lunch turned out well. Had some leftover base for vichyssoise in the freezer. Heated it up with some chevre, tomatoes and bacon, a little milk. It was great.
