Up 1.4... I see a pattern... I lose then gain then lose then gain... I need to break the pattern.

I'm still hovering around 182-184. I think more of that is muscle (legs) and less is fat. Regardless, time to make another push!

Good luck with the push... I need to push myself more as I can walk a marathon or 1/2 marathon but cant really lose any weight without really pushing.

I didn't enter the challenge officially this year but I thought I would update since I was in on the first few. Anyway, I am down from a sad pathetic high of 328 (6'2") last year to 235 right now. Over a hundred pounds down and I guess I just felt the need to share. I want to get to right about 200 and expect to be there in a few months or at least before spring. Man do I feel better. Thx for letting me toot my horn, back to your regularly scheduled programing.

Tom - Keep up the good work. Great tip about appetite loss after surgery. I had knee replaced 7 weeks ago. Lost 22 lbs in the 1st five weeks after surgery. Still a ways to go.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Bob - Thanks for the boost! I'm 3 1/2 months post-op and find that I am needing to pay attention and stay focused on the portion control and no crap. Good luck with your knee surgery recuperation. You should be feeling pretty good at about this time.

I had skin fold measurements with calipers, plugged into the various body fat calculators, got everything from 15% to 24% body fat. Frustrating to have such a wide range . Weight unchanged at 182-184. Legs are muscling up from biking, trunk getting a bit thinner, no dramatic change lately. In Jan, going to start lifting and trying to bulk up. Tired of being shrimpy.

200.0 It seems that I have refocused. Either that or Costco Fruitcake is the answer! Another tenth of a pound and I will be through my personal floor/ceiling.
