drife shaft brakes were more common in earlier days

eg instead of having disks on the sprung side of the axle, they would put em at the diff, unsprung, better for suspension..

propshaft would be less then ideal since then, i doubt you really could have a diff, at all.

that's a very odd way of blowing up ? you'de think it would blow up at the top , below at the bottom of the stroke ??
That's not where the boost is , the cyllinders are ok, it's the case that broke, not entirely convinced that's a boost problem?

80 pounds of boost. Head studs kept the top half together. See, sick week on youtube for more.
