The Chrysler A57 Multibank, comprised of five 6-cylinder inline engines joined onto to a common output shaft. This engine powered the M4A4 Sherman. All in, it had 30 cylinders, 30 spark plugs, displaced 20.5 litres (1,253 cu in) and weighed over 2.5 tons. Total output was 450 hp and 1,440 Nm (1,000 lb ft) of torque.
Despite its complexity, the A57 was actually a very reliable engine. However, due to its large size, the M4A4 Sherman had a slightly longer hull to accommodate it.

First F.1 victory for a Porsche with Dan Gurney at the wheel.

I was born in '63, and I seriously resent not hearing that DOHC flat 8 scream....

The Zvezda M503 (built at AO Zvezda at St Petersburg) is a maritime 7 bank, 42 cylinder diesel radial engine built in the 1970s by the Soviet Union. Its primary use was in Soviet missile boats that used three of these engines.

I think that’s a Wilhoit built 356 engine in a 356.
