I think I missed you by 15 minutes yesterday. I hope to drop it in soon, should be ready for the engine dyno early next week. The car is now a roller, but it is still in my garage on Esposito's dolly - just need trailer it and take it off the dolly.

All I can find is that it's a turbo-charged flat 12 diesel, and most likely for a locomotive. I found elsewhere that a flat 12 engine was developed for a British "Covenator" tank to keep its COG low. Perhaps that's it?

A friend of mine who passed away not too long ago was on a ground crew for a B-36 that used these engines. He said they were bad engines in a horrible application in the B-36.
