In stock form, I agree. They're a tuner dream however. Stock engine can take over 800whp when you put the turbo to it. $2000 for rods, pistons and cams and you're over 1000whp capable.

Top New Chevy Parts from the 2015 SEMA Show

Quote:
The Gen Six program follows the previous, except that there is the addition of 6.2L LT1-based engine combinations to the blown 350cid and naturally aspirated 427cid LS-based powerplants. I mention this because these parts will all be amalgamated into the Chevrolet Performance catalog. Gitty up, racers.

Wish I could post a picture of my Ramjet-572 powered '97 Camaro Z-28 Coupe'!
Now that's true engine power porn! Here is a stock photo of a '96 Camaro from Wiki; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Camaro_(fourth_generation)#/media/File:1996_Chevrolet_Camaro_in_Venice,_California.j pg
Failed again! Tried to copy and post the actual photo, but no joy!
Guess you will have to use you imagination as to what my car looks like.
