I think so too... The Guv'nor shot up a group or Army reservists a few episodes back. Didn't they have a tank or some other armored vehicle ? I can see that being used to put an end to the prison...

I kinda like that show on the road anyway... more of a "season 1" feel...

Agreed, I like the theme of exploring the post-apocalyptic world. The time at the prison seems rather stagnant.

I'm not sure whats happening, but she is really getting on my nerves. Did you ever see the Seinfeld episode where Jerry's girlfriend at the time would look ok and then in different lighting be downright scary. At the end when she was holding a knife to the govner, see looked like a tranny.

Although I'd like to see Michonne plunge her pig sticker right into the governor's remaining good eye, I think Carl will be the one to put the Governor away.

Interesting to finally get a tiny bit of insight into Michonne's past...she admits to once having a boyfriend. Also good to see that she's won Rick's confidence, thanks to Carl putting in a good word for her. Michone can be a valuable asset to the group.

The scene with the hitchhiker shows just how narrowly focused Rick has become. Leaving the guy out there to die and then picking up his pack off the road on the way back was COLD.

I'm hoping that the encounter with Morgan snaps Rick back to reality. When he was telling Morgan that he can come back from this, it was almost like he was convincing himself that he too can come back. Without the group to look after, Rick could've easily wound up just like Morgan.

I hope Tyrese can see the governor for what he is before the big showdown.

Next week Rick and the governor finally meet face-to-face. Let the s#!t storm begin...

I agree with all you sated - and never thought about Carl being the one who does in the Gov...interesting.

I think the hitchhiker was just another step in a dark storyline - after society breaks down, how long until people only start looking out for themselves? You saw it with the prisoners which were only grudgingly accepted, then the group that they kicked out, and now with the hitchhiker that was left for dead.

finally!! watched the episode last night.

michone. i understand in the comic the two zombies she was leading around..one was her boyfriend, the other was her best friend.

dunno.

Morgan..i would have taken more rifles and ammo from him. the episode was pretty awesome. glad to see Michone work her way into "inner circle"

good stuff..i wonder if the comic series eventually kills the governor? he would be sniped right away in my version.

Gotta love the wimmens in the prison group; less than 30 seconds after Merle tells Glenn to nut up, he gets owned by three of 'em. So funny.

In that scene when it shows Rick taking a sip of whiskey, the camera focused on the guvnah watching intently. I was thinking that he was noticing that was Rick's right hand and it might be the moment he would draw on Rick, but then I noticed it was after the guvnah had moved to sit at the side of the table.

kind of a slow episode, but definitely building to the showdown. You know they are going to leave us hanging at the end of the season as usual.

I didn't buy the conversation that Merle and Glenn had -- Merle was beating on him just a couple of weeks ago, come on! And would you let Merle have free access to that cornucopia of weaponry?
