I still have this question way back from the first few episodes...
There seemed to be an "aware" walker in the first 3-4 eps. There were purposeful camera shots of him. In those shots, he seemed to be more "with it" than the other walkers. It was usually a quick zoom onto his face maybe once or twice in each of those eps.

I kind of thought he was just just used to establish the fact that the walkers respond to noise and movement. Never thought of him as being aware and now that possibly casts a different light on him.

As to the new season, Morgan returns and looks more sane then he did in "clear." What are the marks on the trees for? Morgan saw one and Bob saw one too.

What about Bob? Tastes good..less filling.

Hate the hipsters from terminus. There seem to be at least three groups now against the Ricktatorship. The hipsters from terminus, the claimers and the group that stole Beth. Rocky road ahead. Seems like Abraham is also planning something too...

I agree. Seemed to be a fairly clear close shot of the gun stuffed in his pants. I was expecting him to shoot himself. And he looked a little disappointed after coming up from underwater, like he had been bit. Not sure he was bit on the leg though. Wouldn't they have noticed a bite wound on the leg before cooking it? Wouldn't others notice blood dripping as they walked back?

Poor Bob cannot rum off now missing the leg.



I think he was injured by the walker before on the leg, gave one last kiss and limped outside planning to finish himself off.

Ah, good, I thought I was the only one thinking that...

That said, despite not even the season opener bothering me (the trough scene), the terminus leader's "chat" with Bob while sampling "the meat" really really bothered me. Pretty amazing that made cable TV actually... Made me wanna not watch the next episode, for oh, a few hours... Still, ughhh....

I can't figure out why they would have focused on him 2-3 times in the first eps, if they were trying to show awareness. They could have used different walkers in the eps., but they did focus on him. I don't remember him having the same walker characteristics when walking, groaning (I don't think he did).

I'm going to have to get a copy of the 1st ep. and look into this. It really seemed like he was being showcased for a reason.

I think Eugene is probably nuts.

Almost all his lines have some sort of video game reference.

We're going to find out he does not actually have a cure, he's just playing out a video game fantasy.

If all of them have the virus, (they turn when they die, right?) why do they get it to a greater degree when they are bit? As far as I know, I haven't seen that explained. So even if Bob was bit, will the group from Terminus get it worse than they have it now?

Virus is in them all, only turns them when someone dies.
Bite from a walker involves a wound that is seriously infected (what with being 2 year old dead tissue and rot and such).
Person dies from major infection.
Person turns.

Stop the infection (remember Hershel), and you can stay alive with the virus dormant.

The cannibals might have cut off Bob's infected leg, which might let him live, and if they cleaned/cooked it enough, they would be fine eating it after that level of grilling.

Beth will finally return next episode according to the preview. Looks like she is in some kind of hospital in a semi-large city. Skyline doesn't look like Atlanta from the few frames they showed through the window. Could be though. Why was she kidnapped? Some sort of testing or experiments on female survivors?

And who did Daryl show up with. The way he introduced them, it didn't seem like Carol. Could be Morgan or...

Glad the hipsters from Terminus finally got the axe (or machete as it would seem.)

The wife and I were discussing how there was a preview of next season last year which showed the Terminus guys offering to team up with the group to go to DC.

Must have been a clever diversion? Can we trust any of the previews?
