They may be going easy at the moment since the season final is an hour and a half. Saving the budget.

I thought it was a great episode. Rick's last line was telling. And it perked Darell right up. I predict they will spend the season growing to hate the locals and end up going to war with them. Carol and Rick both looked ridiculous in their new clothes.

I liked this episode too. Some new challenges to deal with and more questions to be answered. Much more interesting than the group just wandering around in the woods.
Carol's playing it very shrewd...acting like she's clueless so not to seem like a threat. Excellent ploy to gain Deanna's confidence and be able to check things out without arousing suspicion. I think Rick's doing the same. Love the way Daryl's having none of it...skinning that opossum on the front porch was too funny. Reminded me of the Clampett's moving to Beverly Hills. Seems obvious that Aiden (Deanna's son) will quickly become a problem. Could be that he & his buddies were the ones who overran Noah's people and hacked up those walkers in the truck. Great seeing Glenn deck that little twit...these Alexandria people have no idea who they're dealing with here.

"The people out there will try to take what you have...." I think Rick and the groups general feeling is as long as the Alexandria people show they have what it takes to survive everything will be fine. If they prove to be detrimental to the groups survival they will be dealt with accordingly.

Anyone else think the girl who snuck out is reporting back to an outside group?
How is it she survived, alone. Know what I mean? |

I think it's an interesting twist to the show. At what point does the fight for survival remove all of the humanity? You know that this entire situation isn't going to end well, it's all too weird and uncomfortable.

i love how daryl is still grungy and dark.
i dont suppose he is going to unpack. no doubt the blond hair cutting lady's husband is a dead man. and why would anyone put the fencing bracing on the outside of the fence? any invading force can,,"well, let me remove this here brace.." and the fence needs a walkway. you cant even patrol it unless youre outside. dumb.

^^^^^^^ My guess on this is because they are filming at a real suburban neighborhood^^^^^^^^ I know they built a few fake homes but by and large it's an existing community and most home owners would not allow giant fence bracing to be planted on their 1/5 acre lot. So the bracing is 'reversed' to the outside where the landscape is more rural.

Most are settling in and starting to let their guard down a bit it seems, even Daryl. Definitely Not a good idea. Rick and Jesse the neighbors wife??, may get interesting?

Daryl is the one character who never ceases to amaze me though. He has proved time and time again that you should never judge a book by its cover in this post-apocalyptic universe. Carol definitely has some issues. Was thinking about the jobs the group have been given and was glad she didn't get put in charge of the daycare center. Imagine the story time tales she would tell the kids. Act up and I guarantee that she doesn't put them on the naughty step. She's got a naughty tree... All the characters seem to be operating like caged animals inside the confines of Alexandria. Some are hiding their actions by trying to fit in. Others are starting to lose it. Think Sasha might be the next to go.

"One morning, you'll wake up and you won't be in your bed. You'll be outside the wall, far far away, tied to a tree." Oh Carol...you sure know how to make a point! That was a great scene in another very interesting episode. This 'Alexandria' story line has added some much-needed intrigue to the mix. Seeing Rick's attitude toward the people inside the walls got me wondering...is this how things started with the Governor at Woodbury?
Right near the end of this last episode, Rick is out walking the streets and passes in front of a street sign. The street's name? Morgan Ln. Coincidence? Don't know...but it got me thinking about if, or how, Morgan will be brought back into the story.

Morgan was more like a combination of Carol and Sasha in the last episode in which he was featured Clear (The Walking Dead) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A little bit crazy and a true zombie killing machine.

I think something is wrong here...
Those people. NO way a bunch of soccer moms n dads are going to survive a zombie outbreak. Something tells me that group isn't what it seems...

I can't figure out who is going to be the bad guy here. Is it someone in Alexandria or someone in the Ricktator's group? Both Carol and Sasha are Bat**** crazy for the time being (all Carol needs is a little gingerbread house in the woods to complete the package.) Abraham and Rosita aren't happy confined in the walls either. Rick looks ready to aerate Mr. Jessie. Only one member of Alexandria (Adien, Deanna's son) seems like they could be trouble. So where will the conflict come from? Here in Alexandria or outside the walls? Don't know yet. But will be watching to find out.

All that is needed is a herd of walkers attracted by noise to knock down part of a wall.
Herschels's farm and the Prison could not hold them back.

That's a great point. It does appear that they are feigning weakness!

Is the "W" carved on the walkers forehead reference to an outside group of scavengers in the area?
