I don't think it's even out yet. But it may come out soon as season 2, part 2 starts next week end ! Sometimes they release part 1 on DVD just before part 2 comes out. I hate that shows split their season in 2 these days... |

I think AMC is showing the first half of season 2 either Saturday or Sunday.

If anyone needs to get caught up, season 1 is on Saturday and season 2 (first half) is on Sunday leading up to the new episode on AMC.

Ugh, pretty good episode, right up until the end, I think Jack Stillerman's budget cuts are catching up with the show. We just wasted 3/4 of a season looking for the missing girl and now I'm sure we're going to waste 3/4 of this season looking for the wife.

SPOILER ALERT: Where was she going anyways? You would think if the world were overrun by "walkers" people that have been surviving in that world would exercise a little more caution than running off by themselves. And what is Dale, some type of wizard? (I know Shane killed (fat guy) I guess that would explain the white beard.

Exactly. She was going to tell Rick to find Hershel because that the blonde chick was in shock, which he already knew and already was doing.
Ridiculous. |

The final bar scene gives me hope, but the blonde chick in shock/wife going to town really just seems like a very weak attempt at throwing together a plot for the rest of the season.

I don't recall those bits (wife's car accident/bar scene) being in the books, but they sure have plenty of (good) material in there to go many seasons without any of that side stuff... Overall, it's good to have the show back, though !

Speaking of the blonde girl--just how many people are there on the farm? Seems like each episode 1 or 2 more pop up.
And I guess they have plenty of food as well--seeing how they wasted a whole ham trying to get the fat walker out of the well. I also found it funny that they made the (2) new bar intruders hail from Philly.

My wife thinks that Lori's crash may be a way to remove the unborn child from the plot. If that is the case they shouldn't need Herschel anymore and maybe they will move on from the farm.
On the subject of the farm I can't see what is so exceptional about it that makes people want to stay there. People keep saying "you can't send us back out there" but the farm seems kind of out there too. If it were a fortified structure I could understand but farms like that are all over the place in the area they are in. Did anyone else notice that Glen had the business end of the shotgun pointed right at his dome when he was in the car with Rick? |
