We lived in Columbus, OH, & my father took the canoe on fishing trips into the Boundary Waters of northern MN & used a 3 1/2 horsepower Evinrude (he called it a "kicker") to go 60-some miles into the wilderness, including a couple portages. Usually 6-8 guys would go, 2 per canoe. I think he went about 6 times. One of my regrets is that I never went with him. My brother went once. The photo was probably taken around 1980. My brother still has the canoe, although I don't think it has been in the water for quite awhile.

We had a Pinto wagon when I was a kid with a 4 on the floor.
I had no idea there was a Pinto enthusiast / restoration crowd out there. To each his own I guess .Truth be told, I had no idea there were even any Pinto's left on the face of the earth.
