I spotted then followed this guy one day back in the early 2000's in Claremont, CA. It's a Rolls Royce Woodie (technically a Shooting Break)

Not shown in this pic (dammit) is a forth pedal. The owner told me that you pressed it once a month. One full length travel of the forth pedal forced grease into all chassis lube points. Pretty darn cool!

There are two types of people in this world, those that "get" wagons and those that don't.

For years I have lusted for a white ‘58 Chevy Nomad with a Tri Power 348 and a 4 speed. I don’t think they came from the factory with a 4 speed, but that could be fixed.

John Walker, you've probably discussed it before, but is that Caddy gonna be your personal whip? That's gonna be really something.

Back then, anything could be ordered. I know of an original 63 409 4 speed, bench seat wagon.

Does this not count as a wagon, all 149 inches of it? It has a fold up rear seat, and wide C pillars like on the Volvo Duett.

It has a 1468cc 177BHP motor, though mine is tuned to 210BHP, to propel its 2380 pounds kerb weight. Europeans and Australians will know what it is, although a total of only 1268 were sold.

The last station wagon I owned. 260,000 miles and finally threw a rod. Bye bye.
