The first two cars that I bought in college were identical 122s Amazon wagons, one after the other - white with red interiors. Still the best snow cars I've ever driven, and I wouldn't mind another.
Just got a new silver Jetta Sportwagen for my wife. A nice looking new car I think, here's one in red: ![]() - but I wouldn't mind either of these :![]()

![]() ![]() My 9-5 Wagon. Fits 4-5 in comfort and all the gear needed for an extended weekend out. The rear suspension raises once the car get rolling, it has some kind of load leveling suspension on the back. The rear rack has only scraped a couple of times in town on big storm water channels. Awesome deal for around $50 at harbor freight.

Remember Car and Driver magazine and their "Boss Wagon" series?

This looks like a bolt-on that takes the place of the rear hatch. Kind of like the bolt-on hardtops for convertibles (like the one I had for my TR6). Interesting idea, but large & heavy.
I wonder if anyone made any convertible to hatchback/wagon bolt-on conversions. |
