Very very true.

I guess you could say I've had 4. I went out 911 shopping and came back with an S2 cab this summer.

But I'm in the market for a 912E at the moment. I like them a lot more than 911's. If I'm going to pay 15k+ to rebuild an engine it better be for an airplane...

I don't have any plans at this point. I'm currently driving a Mazdaspeed Miata. It's a lot of fun. I'm hoping that when the time comes to replace it that I'd ready to buy another Porsche. I have no idea what Porsche though. I've thought about everything from SWB cars to 993 and Boxsters. I guess I'll have to figure that out when the time comes.

I'm on my 3rd new (to me) vehicle this year, so it'll be a while.

Pretty happy with the current fleet, but I would consider a LR Defender or Wrangler Rubicon next.

Probably a BMW 3 series... Preferably with a 6 cylinder engine.

If you knew my complete car history that would be a big surprise. I've mostly had VW.
I'd go VW again but I've heard nothing but bad things about their newer car reliability. Maybe it's just internet gossip but I can't help but feel things have slipped in the VW group.

I've considered a 996 but the engine, brake line and other issues are just unacceptable.

Great car for everyday and it would suit my life style (now) but I'm concerned about the age and mileage.

If a wheel chair could fit into a E-type coupe I'm toying with one to rebuild.

Hmm I wonder just how much a turbo would help one?

A buddy just bought a Cayman S in Aug. with the PDK and plans to keep it for 3-4 years before getting a 911, I'd love to get that Cayman if the price is right at the time.

Just picked up a 2012 MBZ C250. I'd like a 360 Spider with 3 pedals, too. 993 is staying put.

I just bought a 2003 911 C2. 996 #3 for me, those that don't like the water pumpers are missing out on fantastic cars.

yikes, crazy money! I've seen a few decent stock cars for 15-18k. Don't know if I'd buy one in the US though, looks like it would be a PITA to get it spec'd for canada, and only the dealership is allowed to do the work (lights, dash display, etc) and they won't say what the cost would be. Haven't seen any e500 4matic wagins for sale in Canada at all. Just as well, I don't want to distract myself from getting a 964

considering 355's at all? I think they are the best looking Ferrari since the 308, and prices seem to be halfway decent (as far as ferraris go).

The price difference between 355's and 348's isn't justifiable to me right now, as the good 355's are still up near 60K and there are good 348's (while rarer) around $38-40K. Plus I love the Testarossa styling of the 348. While I do agree the 355 is the greatest looker of the bunch.

I would actually be loving the pickup a Testarossa, but they are too big for my garage and I wouldn't want to pay the maintenance.
