then get it back in yer grubby lil hands and drop off at ROBAR for NP3.


then order a few lil goodies from HK PARTS.com(they have it all in utah(go figure?)

such as:


1) new hk threaded barrel

2) thread cover

3) some night sights if it doesnt come with them already.

4) (2) more 12rd mags with finger rest (factory only).

5) a few small spares here and there to give ya a warm fuzzy for dec. 21st 2012.



and STILL have less $$$ into it than if ya bought a brand new anybodies QUALITY .45!

i know what a hk usp compact tactical .45 NEW IN BOX costs as i nailed one last year and its just freeking scarey what they get now a days.


but if ya want some "man i'm a jerk" incentive like i just got and looked at a NIB HK STAINLESS USP MATCH .45 that just went for freeking $3500!


remember HK is NO DIFFERENT than PORSCHE:

short production runs,expensive new prices, extreme quality control and somehow most porsches retain their values just like older HK's do.



wanna get scared ???????/ LOOK at HK P9S TARGET MODEL .45's. sheesh too rich for my blood. lost my chance on that model let alone a P9S TARGET 9mm. another could have should have wished to hell i DID have one episodes in my life.



crap the funky looking space spoon the HK VP70Z in crap condition are going for $500 bucks and thats a polymer frame with 19 freeking rds from the factory and slim as hell.

I don't think they recognize CA as a shipping destination these days. My last couple buys have been PPT and frankly I am super down with that. Nice thing about PPT (here) is that off roster spoons are good to go and of course a firm middle finger to CA sales tax if the seller is in CA too.

well wouldnt a HK USP FULL SIZE with 10rd mags be kalifornia compliant?


they make both 10 rd mags and 12 rd mags from the factory for them.

promag i think even makes 20rd mags for it. have heard good and bad with them so the jury is out on them.

so ya get 10+1 or 12+1 which is mo betterer than most 1911's which come standard with 7+1 mags.



heres a pic of my HK USP COMPACT TACTICAL just for the DROOL FACTOR! has night sights already and 200 rds as fast as we could load and shoot never once letting rest................FLAWLESS! w/hollow points and ball ammo.

Compliance has nothing to do with it. Places like CDNN avoid the entire deal and say NO to CA. They don't want to deal with the extra fees and certs that go with it and I don't blame them.

I like HK very much...far more than Sig. Occasional good HK deals on Calguns PPT that in the end == to what CDNN is currently offering.

to make one of these HK USP FULL SIZE .45's into a MATCH .45 entails ONLY THESE ITEMS from HK:

1) muzzle compensator or screw on 4 prong flash hider about the same thing.

2) factory match barrel or threaded barrel both with o-ring for tighter lockup basically the same.

3) factory adjustable rear sights

4) factory trigger kit


all available from hkparts.com or hkspecialist.com


thats it! NOTHING MORE and sure beats the hell out of $3500 which was what the last HK MATCH went for NIB on gunbroker.com


like i said i have done a few(ALOT) of these over my lifetime, and the simple drill on any HK is if the factory still supports it................then send it in and have hk georgia go thru the entire thing stem to stern. they will call you with a list of items, and you tell them ya want the trigger kit installed if offered, the rear match sights etc. they put it all back together, you pay for the upgrades and WAA-LAA suddenly you have a damn nice shooter.

i skated in on the tail of factory repairs on both of my HK P9S .45 and 9mm's before they stopped supporting them. both of those repairs WERE FREE! unreal customer service. amd they proof shot them and sent me back there targets with a ton of swag to boot.


so as i said if i receive it friday, we clean the hell out of it,inspect it. then sunday shoot the hell out of it, clean it again and call hk get RGA number and ship it overnight to hk georgia with my complaints if any, and then get it back, take to robar, and then its off to the races.


i can honestly say i have never had a problem with ANY HK over 30years now.


sending a po-po trade in back into the factory, gives me a warm fuzzy that some nitwit in some backwater wasnt playing armorer when he didnt have a clue what to do.

the USP's come in many FLA-VORS!


fullsize regular usp

fullsize tactical w/threaded barrel

and usp compact tactical .45 which is the above picture


go to hkde.com i think and look at barrel lengths and weights


obviously when you get any "COMPACT" model your round count goes down.

for daily carry..............hands down either the 9mm/40/45 compacts



for general match work and higher round count the fullsize models.



theres some real cool articles/reviews of guys buying the threaded barrels NOT for suppressor use, but for the 4 prong flash hider/compensators. they state that its a hell of alot nicer to shoot, less recoil and TIGHTER GROUPS using quality ammo. i havent tried one but its on my list.


now i have not found surfing around the original HK FACTORY compensator (ala on the HK FULLSIZE MATCH model) listed anywhere. so that may be rare as hens teeth.


remember up above an original NIB HK FULL SIZE MATCH .45 just went out gunbroker for $3500 bucks.



so to make one of these PO PO tradeins into a shooter...................it doesnt take much.



go to hkparts.com(adam webber up in salt lake), he aint cheap but NOTHING IS EVER CHEAP on an HK, and go to top left of opening page. click on pistol parts. then click on HK USP .45. thats the full size version. 9 variants available(all can be changed to your choice by an qualified hk armorer or hk georgia), and check out all the goodies available along with spares.


when ya only got one spoon its easy to go whole hawg on it. when ya got alot of spoons TO FEED.................well ya tend to be a cheap azz, and look for deals that are simple to upgrade and get MORE BANG FER BUCK!

hell i expect holster wear already on slide of this one i just bought, but thats why we have ROBAR here. when its done getting NP3'd the slide will look EXACTLY LIKE a STAINLESS SLIDE from the HK factory, same as my daily carry hk usp compact 9mm.



re: ROBAR............check their website monthly. each month they run specials. on these hk's its called the "NORTON SPECIAL" as obviously its a polymer frame which doesnt get anything done to it. basically slide and ALL INTERNALS, slide release, etc. get done. it will never FREEZE on you, cleanup is 100x easier, salt water, diesel fuel,avgas, impervious. this is exactly what process is used on ALL SOCOM/SEAL weapons. i swear by it and the rickster(rick lee) likes it also.

hey its a damn good deal NRA very good to EXCELLENT! its a shooter out the box. with a few new "goodie" parts, they become AWESOME!


and if yer really really into them get the hk armorers manual from hk parts and tear into it all the way.
