My apologies, I have corrected the grammar mistake while I'm not here to sell or promote any products, I'm just sharing what I love to do.

Other process are a repaint probably?

Where are you located these days? I'm in Sunrise. Crazy days right now but I would like to get my cars prettied up.

My Chevy has a lot of plastic and not a lot paint (cladded Avalanche) and for its 9 years it looks great (except for the typical fading of the cladding and a couple of love nudges on the front bumper).

I have to agree with the air dry, I think it was at the Zaino site were I first read about air and they suggested an electric leaf blower so I went for it, WOW did that ever work well to get the water out of places you can't dry, around the emblem, behind the glass on the mirrors, wheels, signal lens's. Told a buddy about it and he was skeptical so he came over to wash his new Cayman while I got the blower out, he dryed his car and I said "watch this" and went after one side of his rear lens , his eyes almost fell outta his head, he said "gimme that effen thing", he bought the same blower on the way home.
Juan do you have an air drier on your compresser? does it put oil in the air, most home handyman compressers do, thats why you never fill scuba tanks at home, Lypoid pnemonia will kill you. just wondering is all. Was that 500 times digital light expensive? who makes that.
Thanks for the info
Finn

i used a leaf blower for a long time. worked very well. the one i had was an electric one...not sure if they still make em anymore. strange, my grandpa gave it to me the day he died the blower motor finally gave up on me

Beautiful job on the above car.

Missed that air question!

First I hope my cars don't die from Lypoid pnemonia whatever that is I don't have a compressor but many of my customers do, so far I haven't see any oils but thanks for pointing that out.

The one alternative is this nice little toy

Blaster® SideKick

I just keep forgetting to order one

WOOO there Juan. I tried your trick of a plastic bag on my paint today. I could feel the imperfections on the paint like you described, but when I looked at the paint, it had all kinds of scratches on it from the bag. NOT PLEASED at all. The bag caused all kinds of scratches on my paint. I waxed aftewards, but some of the marks were still there. WORD TO THE WISE, don't do this to your car, unless you want to go to Juan for a few hundred big ones.

Why are you blaming me for your mistake?

I clearly stated and pass your hand very gently over the surface if you got those results you clearly did not did the procedure correctly is that simple. We have done this hundreds of times and NEVER had induced scratches into the surface.

Juan, I placed my hand "in a plastic bag" and getnly passed over the surface". This was on a very nicely finesed surface which has not had the clay treatment since last fall. I did one half of the hood and noticed very bad, IMO, scratches on the hood.I keep this car up to the highest standards to say the least. I just thought you might have an idea of why this could have happened. This is on a 1985 BMW with original paint.

There's a few scenarios that potentially could cause that, such has.

1. Rubbing the surface to hard

2. Plastic bag too thick

3. Surface contaminants rolled while doing the test, if you feel that the first two are not the case then you need to consider # 3, you mentioned that the surface is
I could feel the imperfections on the paint like you described, but then you mention that This was on a very nicely finesed surface is either one or the other but not both of them.

Well, we all know the surface contaminants did not 'roll" while doing the test. They are on there because they do not wash off or roll off. The surface I had was like 99% of the cars out here, nicely waxed and buffed to a car show shine. I just stated that your plastic bag was a bad idea, causing scratches in the paint. On my hood, I did 1 side with your method, the other with my hand. I felt the imperfections on both sides, but you know the result. The hand side was scratch free.

This is mine... needs detailed!! I will get to it as soon as the weather and my schedule permit.

Claybar, followed by Klasse polish, then a final couple of coats of Rejex.

Thanks! I've had a Speed3 as a daily driver since 2/2007 and I love the cars! They are fast, fun to drive and get good mileage if you drive them nicely. No mechanical issues at all and with Blizzak tires, they are great in the snow!
