All done! Two small polyps, please come back again in 5 years. Maybe I am lucky, but the prep was not near as bad as I anticipated. But I did follow the pre prep diet as well.

Anyone else use that new cologuard screening?
I'm using it for the first time, I'm about to drop off the steaming pile at the local UPS store. How'd you like to be the guy at the lab who's job it is to examine someone else's crap? ewwww. |

I'm also on the 5-year plan, and will be due again next year. Had a recent Prostate Cancer scare as well after my PSA levels had been creeping up a bit. Ended up going to a specialist and having a biopsy done (much worse than my colonoscopy) and fortunately cam back negative, but with some markers for potential trouble. Now I will be back every six months while they monitor my PSA levels. Glad you cam out all right!

Barely made a dent in my supply. I did get some baby wipes and only used about half of the pouch.

I finally manned up and had a colo/endo this morning. Prep was not bad with ducolax and MiraLAX.
Procedure was a miracle of anesthesia. Easy peasy. Food soon, yay.

It really is no big deal at all. Wish I hadn't waited as long as I did. Stage 4 colon cancer, oops.

And you're so casual about it! Good luck and prayers that you have either already gotten past it or do.

And hopefully, the rabbit doesn't end up being a lion!

Curious that some doctors prescribe Ducolax/Miralax and others (mine) call for the full Suprep two doses. I'm not thinking Miralax clears as well Suprep. What's going on with this?

Just got mind done for the first time couple months ago. Piece of cake. My wife and everyone else had warn me about the jungle juice that must get ingested the day before and how much of hell it was to get gallons of it down. I had two bottles of Gatorade mixed with two Miralax. Hell, I didn't even risen my mouth after each dose. cleaned me out but was no big deal. The next day, I just slept on that bed after the producer for about 45 min. I didn't feel a thing. Wife took me home. Clean bill of health, thank goodness.

What's happening on Tuesday?
Actually... I'm going in sometime soon. The hospital people are organising a booking. Speaking not terribly medically, but the doctor says I may have cancer of the arse and need the colonoscopy. Eek, blood with poo and falling asleep during the day for no reason = blood loss internally. So we'll see what the colonoscopy says. |

It's allot easier to do the cologuard test
than go through a colonoscopy Kind of gross but easier. https://www.cologuard.com |
