Well now you know what the symbolism of the man falling in the intro stands for.

This is really eerie for me. I told you guys my dad was an ad man. His counterpart to Lane in his office committed suicide in 1958. Not in the office though. And it was a woman.

Herr_Oberst called it. I had a funny feeling when Draper told him he was out - I could tell "something" was going to happen. The 4-H stuff in the beginning building up his ego.....then the wife buying the Jag pushed him over the edge I guess.

Weird ending - I thought it to be a bit self-indulgent. But could just be my interpretation.

The kids part reminded me so much of "The Sopranos" the way they scripted it..they didn't seem very natural like regular kids. But I guess that's the point...

I didn't know until today that Lane is the real life son of the actor Richard Harris.

I've only watched a few episodes of the soap opera. Show is well done, not my cup o' tea, but I laughed my ass off the other night when all the suicide preparation of the new Jag was for naught when it wouldn't start.

It is not surprising that the goings on such as suicide, infidelities, smoking and heavy drinking are happening because the industry is high stress. You really have to come thru with the contracts or else the company/u are toast. Anything for creativity. Yes it was typical(?) of the Jaguar not to start even though he was going nowhere. Yes startling was a good word to describe this episode

Yeah, despite the seriousness of the subject matter, I couldn't help but laugh when the jag wouldn't start... Now we know for sure Jaguar did not pay the producers to be featured. First the Joan thing, second the awful advertising " Jags, so unreliable you can't even use them to suicide"...

REad what Jaguar thinks here:

Wait, I thought this guy drove a Winnebago meth lab. I don't watch a lot of TV, but this looks nothing like the first couple episodes.

brandegee @Ash78 now drives a Maclaren
The lead character went to the big city to help the good guys solve a crime and made a splash like in Crocodile Dundee.

Soloburrito @Ash78 now drives a Maclaren
That's a different show. This one has Dragons.

Ash78 now drives a Maclaren @Soloburrito
You're thinking of Game of Thorns. It's on Cinemax or something.

Justin @Ash78 now drives a Maclaren
No, that's the one where the suburban chick starts selling weed. You are thinking of Veep.

PHIL @Justin
No thats the one about the US Marshall with the hat....you know Community.

MattAtDoyle @PHIL
Wait, I thought Mad Men was the one where Bruce Jenner realizes all his children are being pimped out by their mother?

PHIL @MattAtDoyle
I thought that was Glee?

Atomic Buffalo @Ash78 now drives a Maclaren
So *this* is "Burn Notice"?

onerunjunior @PHIL
Hold the phone, I thought he got stuck in a tank and ran out of paintballs?

DrGonzho @Atomic Buffalo
No, this is Spartacus: Blood and Sand. You're thinking of that Firefighter show with Denis Leary.

PHIL @onerunjunior
I think that was Boardwalk Empire no?

Ran into little Sally Draper at the smoothie place this am and complimented her on a terrific performance. What a cute kid, she was wearing a karate gi.

Had to turn it off. If it wasn't a complete gushy soap before, it is now.

Too many commercial breaks, especially in the second hour. Yeah, DVR it from now on.

Don's mojo is out of whack.

Summer of love coming up? What year is it on the show now?

Peggy's boss is an idiot. I'll bet she wants back with Don's firm.

Betty in a slum tenement in NYC? Please. They would have robbed her at the very least.

I guess the Army kid's lighter will factor in at some point.

Still love Roger. His first wife looked good last night. (I'm 50 and dig older women.)

DVR set to record series. Hope it gets back on track.

This show has gone like my Boxster after driving it in winter - it has lost its lustre. Too bad.

The only character I liked last season was the E-type. (Was that last season?)

I'll give it an hour. No time for shark-jumpers.

Well, at least something had some compassion on that show.

Having grown up the son of a British sports car enthusiast I laughed-out-loud when the Jag wouldn't start. Had to explain it to my wife.
