I'm all in - this is just the first episode of the season. I think it was pretty good. I'm not a critic but know what I like.

Recorded it. Sat down this evening to watch it. 90 minutes later, I'd fixed a CD player that was acting up and used it to listen to a Emmylou and Rodney Crowell album I got from Amazon today, checked the beehives to make sure all the party girls got home safe, and replaced the blades in my razor.

That whole "world weary' attitude that is so pervasive on that show just started to really get me down this season.

Awkward, disruptive, scripted. What's with Don not answering any questions or talking to anyone? He just gives confused looks. They are not subtle with anything in this episode. Too many points to prove.

Thought it was pretty good - especially the vintage ad stuff about Heinz. I seem to remember some of those ads.....and my Dad always liked (and insisted on) Heinz.

Though DD was being a total schmuck with Megan at the end and then the doctor's wife told him she was praying for him to find peace gave everything a new meaning. Bur really...he makes a big stink out of her intimacy and then is banging someone else on the side....what a hypocrite!
