Olive is experiencing a bit of pent up energy. She pulled a muscle or popped her back a couple days ago. The Vet wants us to keep her mellow for a week or so. Yeah! Good luck with that. Let's go dad!!!

A German shepherd is recovering after being bitten three times by a rattlesnake to protect a 7-year-old girl

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — When a venomous Eastern diamondback rattlesnake appeared in the backyard of a 7-year-old girl, her German shepherd came to her rescue, refusing to back down even when the snake bit him three times.

In short, Haus is a hero.

"It shows you that a rescue dog, for us, paid it forward by protecting my family," said Adam DeLuca of Tampa.

Now hundreds of donors are coming to the family's rescue, quickly topping the goal of $15,000 Friday on a GoFundMe account to help pay for the antivenin needed to keep the dog alive. By Friday afternoon, $35,000 had been raised for the dog's care.

Just a suggestion, my wife's chiropractor does adjustments on patients dogs for things like that. That also might be an option if things don't get better with the ol back.

Speedy recovery to yur pup.

Cheers Sir Henry and humans

Thanks Bugs. She is doing okay. She is curled up on the couch with me right now. I think she did it when she was fetching at the dog park. People always comment about how fast she runs. Some don't even realize she has only three legs until she stops running. Olive does not seem to have an off switch. It is hard to keep her chill.

That's good news to hear!!!!! Yeah, it's difficult to keep a good pup down. Especially one with a broken "off" switch, although this is not the case with Sir Lump. Glad to hear she's chilling with her human.

I knew it!

Got home and found Henry in the son's room watching some cake building competition on Netflix....

When I questioned him to the productivity of his time during the day, I got the same one word answer I get from the bipedal kid.

"Point?...."

Thanks Baz,

Please return the belly rub well wishes to the girls too.

In fact, Henry would like to push out the belly rub request to all pups who has their humans post pictures of all K9 kin.
