Two farm dogs have been praised for waking up their owner early this morning to alert him to a large hay bale fire.

I drove by a farm this morning with a hundred or more sheep in and around a corral that looked like a maze. In the near corner was what looked like a Great Pyrenees standing there watching. For some reason, it looked kind of awesome. Traffic was going around 55. If I had it over, I’d pull over and take a pic.

Turns out the new dog can clear a 6 foot fence. They were chasing each other around the back yard. Brindle one could have followed him over, but stopped and looked at the wife instead. He destroyed a nylabone in about 20 minutes.

This is his paw at 10 months, 80 pounds. They told me lab mix, but his fur seems to be a magnet for water. Sister is saying 125 when he grows up, hoping her guess is optimistic

Not only smart but so durable. Got back today from a week in the cold snowy mountains. My little girl was spinning doughnuts, chasing sticks every day in the snow and loving it |

She was a rescue and fit right in from the get-go! :) |
Ha ha I just held my phone to Sophie's face with your heelers playing. She was glued to it!
