Sort of related (one my wife shared with me earlier today):

That's awesome. Check out the look on the dog's face in the first couple of seconds.

6 weeks into our new adopted dog. The scorecard is super favorable. No accidents in the house, the cat and dog accept each other, he uses the dog door to see himself out to do his thing, he is the fastest learning dog I've ever adopted.
Sucks he needs to wear sun goggles but he learn to deal with it. Same suck with him needing sunscreen but whatever. We took him today to "waterbark". A fund raiser.. we paid $5 to swim in a man made children swimming hole. There were hundreds of dogs. Total pandemonium! It was a blast! We have a fetching fool for a pup. He swam like a champ and brought back whatever we threw. It was a lot of fun. I forget how much fun they can be. I felt bad for the owners of the non-socialized dogs biting and barking ( and asked to leave). For once I wasn't THAT GUY. My dog was excellent in behavior. A dog did bite my dog and the other owners went viral; they ran out the nice couple with the rowdy dog. Dogs.

This is our last dog Ted, a Bouvier des Flaunders which is a Belgian cattle dog, he was a beautiful, gentle, chilled out dog but sadly we had to have him put to sleep in July this year
![]() ![]() He was very young, only 2.5 yrs old but his complex health issues ended his short life. We are a dog loving family and have always enjoyed having a big dog about the house so the thought of Christmas without one wasn't something we were looking forward to. As there will only ever be one Ted we recently started searching for a different breed we all liked which is harder than it sounds. Tonight we reserved this handsome, little fella it will be a few months before he is part of the family but we can't wait to pick him up.He is 7 weeks old think he's going to be a big one! I'll be surprised if anyone knows what breed it is as there only a few hundred in total. So far the names we have come up with are Rocky, Enzo and Prince but any suggestions are welcome.

I'm going to say the new one is a young and fluffy puppy. What do I win? Yuki, whose life was too short.
