Check out this little girl looking for a forever home - located in Siler City, NC....

Quote:
Meg is a lovely blue girl with a soft silky coat and a soft, sweet personality. She was born on June 5, 2014 and as of this writing is now three months old.

Meg is not a bold pup, but rather a thinker. She takes in her surroundings and then decides what to do. She is careful and precise, not careless and reckless. Based on her current personality, we think Meg will be a solid and reliable girl when she matures.

She is good with other dogs, ignores cats, and isn’t interested in chickens. She is very, very people oriented and loves to be so close to you that you are in danger of tripping when taking walks with her. She is good at night in her crate but is ready to go as soon as she hears morning noises.

Her foster mom is working with her learning her name, on crate training, house breaking, and the basic commands of sit, wait, and come. She walks well on a loose leash. She approaches new things quietly and takes her time figuring out whether the new thing is a friend or foe. She isn’t afraid but likes to understand what she’s facing rather than just charging in.

Meg is calm and generally quiet. She does not like to be left alone, but is fine in the back yard with other dog companions. If she is crated and can see her foster mom, she will howl up a storm. Her foster mom thinks that behavior will go away once Meg knows what the routine is.

Meg is up to date on her shots, is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms and fleas. She will be spayed in mid-November and should be ready to go to her new home right around Thanksgiving, but we are taking applications in the meantime. She is being fostered in Siler City, NC.

Thanks Mark - I don't think it will be a problem at all, given how gorgeous she is and how special the breed is.

I wish every pup could find their forever home that easy.

Give your babies a hug from my girls.

Take the dog bed on the floor back to the store, he's made his choice.

FYI: I checked out the guy's FB page and here's what he wrote about the video:

Please read.. here is my challenge to those that have anything negative to say about this video.. a little Background first: this video features Savannah on the left(not quiet a year old at the time) Griffin next to her(almost 2 at the time) the one behind me was a rescue dog, 3 years old who came to me with no training or socialization of any kinda, she was very sweet but not confident! she had numerous health problems and to me this is amazing of how she was doing after only a couple of months of training, given the fact that she never left her small kennel EVER then Hannah(came to me at 2) I did all the training with her. She is very confident. the one on the far right is another rescue who was tied on a leash outside day and night even in the winter, with just a tiny dogs house, she was in very poor shape when I got her.she had no training and again not confident. Altho those 2 dogs will never to be 100% they are way better in this video than when I rescued them. They both have found great pet homes since then. The other 3 still live with me. This video is 2 years old and was filmed in the winter in a very cold day if you didn't notice.. Now this video went viral this week. millions of people have watched it. But they don't know anything about me or my dogs and the history behind the dogs. Some claim its not impressive because they ar trained by shock collar or by abuse(which they aren't) others claim train a dog to do this and where they will be wagging their tails and acting all excited. So I decided to challenge those people for those that are not against shock collars and say anyone can do this, I challenge you to make a similar video in a similar setup..for those who are against e-collars and say the dogs should be wagging their tails and excited I challenge you to post a video of your trained dogs doing this same thing but wagging their tails and appearing happy as you say. please make sure its the same situation where dogs are just walking in public streets with people walking by etc. the reason for this challenge is because I know how much training and energy I put into these dogs to train them, and whether you use shock collars or not its not that easy to do this. I use my body language to let the dogs know I want them to walk close to me.
And here is the embed of the video:

Funny pit bull story...

I arrived at a business lunch meeting 20 minutes early yesterday, so decided to stop by a Starbucks. Sitting at an outside table was a young woman with a red pitbull female. It was a nice day, yet she was the only one sitting outside. The dog was muscled, but had very friendly and welcoming eyes. I kneeled down and ruffled her head and told her what a cute girl she was (the pitbull, not the young lady). When I oped the door several people inside were watching. A man in his 50's said, "Wow, you're either brave or crazy". Huh???

Amazing how a few bad dog owners paired with media sensationalism can create a national fear of one dog breed. I've only been bitten badly once...and it was an English Springer Spaniel.
