got my wife to start commuting to work on a bike. how?

we ordered this and it finally showed up. it is fun to commute with her and to show her some street skills. the thing is surprisingly fun to ride. she loves it. just jumps on and go. she can ride wearing a skirt and dansko clogs. she does wish it was still called a BETTY FOY, but getting that sticker option was crazy money, for a sticker.

racerbvd

as I have a very similar guerciotti frame even identical paint colors
and an ALAN that is also a really a guerciotti screwed and glued early alloy bike
sadly I do not have the aero campi brakes just normal campi sidepulls
with an odd mix of components campi shifters but high end jap cranks

what is that bikes asking price
is the ALAN the same value or ?

I also looked at the Venge as I have a friend who just bought one and raves about it (he was riding a Ridley prior to).

very happy with my prior design Roubaix, i'm sure this new model will be great as well. I test rode a Roubaix (prior year model) UDi2 and LOVED the shifting. would've bought one but couldn't get the color I wanted.

I interrupt my self imposed moratorium on the internet to thank racerbvd for tuning me into the SE racing reissues and new models- This company has done it right! My 4 year old is going to have one heck of a christmas!

Amazing downhiller, but definitely more work on the climbs than my Yeti ASR5c or Niner Jet9. I suspect the super heavy Minion tires can be blamed for much of that. Corners like on rails though. As far as the suspension, I'm still playing with shock pressures, haven't gotten it dialed in yet. But last night I nudged a rock and sent the rear derailleur into the spokes and had to hike-a-bike home. New derailleur hanger on order, and need to source some spokes at the LBS this week.
