Picked this up today. Seller only lived about 2 blocks away! He's originally from Great Britain and bought this bike new from the factory in Connecticut.

$300.

Fully kept up and in near perfect condition. Super light too!

Anyone know why is the fork turned backward on those motorpacing bikes and the smaller front wheel?

I always thought it was to get them as close and low into the draft as possible.
It doesn't make much sense in my pic, but with the newer bikers drafting a motorcycle on the salt flats at 190k mph, it makes sense. (to me :) )

Nah. We used to motorpace on the velo w/ normal track bikes.
On the road, I towed a couple jr nat'l champs around behind my ducati at 30 mph in second.
