That brings back some memories! I think the only set of Tuff Wheels I had was on my Candy Apple Red Schwinn Mag Scrambler After that, I ran Z-wheels or aluminum wheels since I was always a weight weenie! By around 1981, I realized my skills didn't lend themselves to 3-dimensions so I switched to a road bike by trading my GT for a Raleigh.

Making some progress on my 1952 Rollfast. I got some donor fenders and chainguard off of a 59-60 Schwinn. They were in blue and very nicely patina'd so I decided to paint the Rollfast frame to match (it was silver but missing 75% of it's paint). Lots of fun doing a faux patina job on this frame and forks. So far, I've used a combo of spray paint, primer, coffee grounds, permanent markers in orange and yellow, paint thinner, sand, and enamel model paint

I haven't rebuilt a coaster-brake hub since the 1970s, until today Could be the first time this grease has been changed since 1952. It was the consistency of Gorilla Glue.

The main thing I’d be worried about is a discharge one if you can even get a replacement.

^^^ I just did a clean, lube & reassemble. That should be good enough for my rat build. We'll see once I've got the bike together, but I think it will be OK.

I saw a guy put all the parts to a coaster brake hub into a black cloth bag and reassemble it 'blind'. It was a contest at a bike fair thingy and he beat a bunch of other mechanics who had the luxury of seeing the parts in front of them. It was something to see.

Nice I was a bike mechanic at Sears in the 70s. When it was slow, my curiosity and boredom got the best of me and I used to disassemble (and reassemble) 3-speed hubs to kill time. Those are fun!

I learned in the 70s as well, out of necessity, not boredom.

One-wheel-peel on that red tricycle. Right turns would be tricky with the left wheel up in the air and no power getting to the right wheel.

Cool build, though.
