LOL, the only reason I know is because I have Campy Super Record Track hubs on a few of my BMX bikes. And learned about them when I worked at a Bike Shop and switched from Bullseye hubs to Campy (Bullseye hugs stated in the paperwork that you should not use DT spokes on them)

I'm tempted:

Convert your old MTB to an e-snowmobile.

Not sure where else to put this.

Spoiler for the HBO Watchmen series.
In episode 8, there's a flashback to when Angela Abar's parents are killed in 1986. The bike the bomber uses has V-Brakes, which weren't invented until about 10 years later. Now you might say that since this takes place in an alternate earth, maybe V-Brakes were invented earlier there, but I don't think so.
The series came out in 2019. I signed up for the black friday $1.99 for 3 months special, getting caught up on everything. The wife wanted to see House of the Dragon.

Edit: I guess Pelican doesn't support Spoiler tags. Read at your own risk.

Pete, I just pull out that yellow Colnago and cleaned it up for my younger boy. He and I ride about 30-40 mile weekly. He rides the red Trek with Ultegra elect. 12 spd. He don't have the drive to chase but beats my ass up our hills at will when we are both out of shape. I had to pull the Campy BB out only to discovered its has a bit of rust in the BB shell. I had to borrow the tools from my friend, a shop owner to chase the threads. I have always used Teflon tape and grease to keep from creaking and ease of removal. I am starting to hear people putting a couple drops of lock tight there. What do you think? I have never had one come loose on me. Oh BTY, I am installing my old DA 9 spd on it. WE have an old man group who all think they are Eddy Merckx with old bikes and wool jerseys that meet up once a month for a 30 mile ride. I have only gone twice with my old Casati. It will fun with my kid and both our Colnagos. They will probably give me siht on my C 40 with DA ten speed.

Sorry I missed your question. I only put a little grease on BB shells (or cups) and I've never had an issue as long as they're torqued to spec. One thing that's often overlooked - Facing the BB after chasing the threads.

Great news about your Lad.

From the top of my head, I don''t think the Octalink bb has a lock ring that sit on the face of the BB shell? It is all internal. I am still dragging my butt(my kid's butt) on finishing it.

You may be disappointed but it doesn't have a Colnago steel fork instead I have a new Old style Look carbon straight blade fork.

An oldie from years pass. Noticed the paint split between the alum crown and fork blade similar to the Kestral fork on your fork only that it was not patched and painted over. It frightens lots of people because they associate the crack with all carbon forks. Its clean on the other side as you can see in the pic

Those flex-o-rama 1" straight blade forks are great for those long drawn out training rides with 20 mm tires over chip seal roads. I would always grab my Look KG 171 (Jalabert Special) for those soul sucking rides due to it being able to absorb road buzz. I knew better then, I rode 23mm tires
