POV Action Cam Shootout – Which Camera Is The Best? | Mountain Bike Review

Best comparison of the different POV cams I've seen. Still thinking about getting one to replace the little hobby cam I have.

Here's a shot of my new ride. In a "since you're getting a new bike " moment, I sprung for the Di2. I am smitten with it. Shifting is effortless...even hammering out of the saddle. The self trim feature is great too.

Your shop is right, 6700 Ultegra and 7900 DA is pretty close. I had 6700 on my Scott Addict R2 and it was a fantastic grupo that never had any issues. Enjoy!

Most of the bits for the boy's next bike. I think he'll be the only 14 y/o in the area riding a '70's Raleigh kitted out with '00's Campy Veloce and tubulars. Actually, this is Portland, so that's probably not true.

Nope, I'm happy with the three I have. Looking for an associate of mine. His knees are gone and he's getting the 40s flab......talked him into bikes.

Great...taking my money a grand at a time. He tells me you were his Time rep. Don't suppose you have an extra C/F bottle cage needing a home? Hard to spend a C-note on 1. I know, I know...look what I already spent for the bike.

Ouch! $100 for a bottle cage? I thought the $40 one I bought myself was hard to swallow (so to speak)

This is my next bike purchase - Wahoo RFLKT - basically a head unit (display/controls) for a cycling app running on the iPhone in your jersey pocket. The RFLKT runs forever on a coin cell. The iPhone runs a lot longer w/ display off. I think I can adapt it to a wristband tool, and pair it to an iPhone running app. BUT word is that it needs a firmware revision to work well, so I'm holding off for a while yet.

And I think I've finally settled on the POV cam (action cam, helmet cam, etc) for me. Not quite the resolution/frame rate/image quality of the latest GoPro, but 2-3X longer battery life, waterproof w/o a separate case, LCD screen and WiFi built in, wrist control included, less dorky looking, and has a lapse-tag mode - push a button and camera records everything from -X time in the past to +X time in the future, X definable between 5 second and 5 minutes.
