People with performance vehicles that drive them like they're a turtle.

After picking up that CL score last night (shelving) on my way home as I sat waiting for the light on Flagler to turn green and go left (north) to my house - 1 mile up, I was behind one of the most gorgeous cars designed in the last century. An Audi TT cab! Great color as well. The speed limit on my road (N. Peninsula) is 25 MPH - so how fast did they go? 20 MPH for the entire mile including two stop signs which of course required an extra 30 seconds per.

Talk about a buzz kill.......

I was behind a Mustang GT with a huge rear wing, noisy exhaust as we went around a flyover overpass from one interstate to the next. I used to take that exit every day on the way to work. I just stayed at 70 in the El Camino. The Mustang was going 45. I take that overpass at 45 when there is snow on the ground as it is banked, and well maintained.

SUV is in the body shop for minor rust repair. I figure that I can use my Z06 while the Tahoe is being repaired. Not so fast. The fuel pump went for a crap yesterday. At least it died at home. Getting fixed next week.
No problem. I have my wife’s Mazda CX5 at my disposal. I needed it today. She needed it. So you know how this ended. I wound up walking.
Rant over.

Texas requires its citizens to make an appointment online to visit their venerated DMV establishments. To replace a lost license, you need a rather long code from the license you don't have, plus a fee to set up an appointment.

Then bring various forms of proof of life, residency, etc... to get a temp license. The actual license gets mailed.

Hard to believe there's something worse than sitting in the DMV office.

If you're a TX resident, make a copy of your license and keep it in a safe place. Better yet, don't lose it.

Costco has you beat. Their Halloween crap has been out for a couple of weeks already. Back to school gear as well.

My pet peeve for the day...

The plethora of people in their teens and twenties self diagnosed with ADHD, autism, or PTSD. I swear at least half of them claim to be afflicted so they have an excuse for their bad behavior and perceived lack of success.

No, your momma paddling you at five did not give you PTSD. Finding work boring does not mean you have ADHD, and you didn't miss being a billionaire social influencer at twenty because autism held you back. You're just a whiny, rude azzhat with unrealistically expectations.

...I feel better now.

Pop-ups on a webpage you did not ask for.

Many times blocking your view (and description) of the item you are trying to look at.

HD is especially egregious at this!
