Invariably, when I get my hair cut, someone asks, "Did you get your hair cut?"

I reply "Yes."

Then they ask, "Did you get ALL of them cut?"

That was funny the first time I heard it - back in the 5th grade. On second thought, it wasn't funny then, nor was it funny the 5,000,000 times I have heard it since then.

I wear a company shirt and jacket....drive a company truck....all decaled up. Can't stand it when people see me coming out of my truck and ask me..."do you work for "*****" Sometimes I just say..."No, I just really like the clothes".

Back to people who make too much noise.

They stand (or sit) outside to talk on their phones. Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak.......and I'm sorry ladies but it's always a woman doing this. VERY annoying because I'm usually doing gardening which is a very mellow activity - as long as "someone" is not YAKKING constantly in the background - 3 doors down even!

You'd think they could still lower their voice a tad while out in public!

Add the talking on the phone while driving. Who is around to enforce the distracted drivers' laws? The cops could make a fortune out of these violators plus those who run stop signs..... unbelievable.

Just tell them you did, It was the one growing out of the tip of your nose. Then tell them they to ought to do it.

"Horrific"
.
I think it's horrific that this word is overused.

People who whistle a 'tune' loudly. I am sure in their mind, their ability to hold a tune is spot on, and on par with a concert flutist, but to my ears, it sounds horrific, in the truest sense of the word.

I solved that problem by keeping the house well-stocked with the large Scott rolls. One roll sometimes lasts up to a week. Maybe too much info, sorry.

Feminine Perfume:

In small quantities is ok. Some may say attractive.

In large doses is not ok. Some may say offensive.

In large doses in confined spaces should be outlawed under the Geneva Convention...

In my book, there are three ways to wear perfume --

A whisper: one has to lean in close to a woman to smell the perfume.

A statement: one can smell the perfume as a woman passes by

An announcement: one can still smell the strong perfume in an elevator 5 minutes after the person wearing perfume was in the elevator.

Signal lights. Is their use illegal in some areas?

I just returned from a driving trip to Ontario and Quebec, via highways 20, 30 and the 401. On the multi lane highways, it was easier to tell what folks were going to do by the drift of their cars than by their use of signals, as only about 1 in 5 drivers used the things. The exception being truck drivers. Their usage of signals was almost universal.

It seemed interesting too, to note that in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, the posted speed limits were 110 kph and the usual speed seemed to be about 115. In Quebec and Ontario, the posted speed was 100 kph and the usual speed was, you guessed it, 115. However, the OPP and QPP weren't even looking at you unless you were going faster than that.

West of Kitchener-Waterloo, in a mixed bag of sun and snow squalls, I witnessed a rectal orifice in a 3 series come by me at what I would guess to be something just above 160KPH in the left lane, jump over two lanes to the extreme right, pass a couple of tractor-trailer rigs on the right, going up a hill and blast on up the road. I must admit, I was waiting for the leading rig to move right to let the other truck by on the hill, but he was watching his mirrors and Bimmer Guy got away with the manoeuvre. Of course he was saving his signal lights for something better.

I'm very happy to live in sleepy ol' Nova Scotia.

What about signs that state gas next exit. So you get off & there is no gas to be found. Yeah maybe friggin' 5 miles down the road. Gas should be no more than .5 miles from the exit for them to be able to say, gas next exit GRRRRR

All too often when someone is killed, we hear something like, "...at least he went out doing what he loved."
Well, I guarantee the person didn't "love" their last few moments of life.
When I hear someone say that, I always think, "How about we see how much you love those same last few moments."

Evidently only Christians die in car crashes. I have never seen a star of David or a Buddha roadside memorial.

How do you know they are not referring to a lady of the night that is really good at her job?
