Buck, please keep in mind that hunters:
1). Have a vested interest in maintaining the highest levels of innocent things to shoot,
2). Spend millions of dollars in the economy towards that goal,
3). And without them game preserves would turn into parking lots, and the displaced innocent creatures would instead be lined up along the highway as roadkill.

i've been grouse hunting a couple of times. i'll probably go tomorrow.... i also drew out for muzzleloader buck deer, sage grouse and sharptail grouse. ruffed grouse and blue grouse don't require a tag, just a license.

Again, born/raised in ND, pheasant hunting was a grand time of year. A few seasons in a row we went down into So. Dakota and sometimes so many would take flight at once the sky would turn dark. Unreal!
My mom made a great pheasant stew. Yum.

Mark...the score is still groundhogs 3 David 0. They have about 40 square yards of beans eaten away now. I'm hoping they get too fat to run into their holes. My eyes ain't what they used to be, even at 200 yards. On another point ...the Bucs won again tonight....life is good.

I have never ever fired the first shot ever. I see threads I don't like as well, I just have the ability to stay off of them. I don't participate cuz I like the guys here.
