I think so. My 2000 has the PCM1 system. The nav is worthless, it's the old CD based system that had multiple CDs to cover the nation. I think the most recent discs are around 2008, so they aren't even current. My iPhone is a much better nav system. I took out the console mounted nav disc drive and installed a pocket.
